      • APPLICATION OF SIR-C DATA FOR EXPLORATION OF MINERALIZED ZONES(HWANGGANG-RI, KOREA)

        This paper investigated and evaluated the NASA's Shuttle Imaging Radar-C (SIR-C) multiple frequency SAR data for differential backscattering effects of microwave from the surface geological materials overlying the skarn type mineralization. Although an integrated approach in mineral exploration is more cost effective and is well in use, there are still many technical and scientific issues to be further investigated and researched. In this study we have reprocessed several sets of previously surveyed exploration data and experimented with fuzzy logic digital fusion of the preprocessed data with respect to chosen exploration targets. Among the numerous fuzzy logic operators, which are currently available for a data driven integrated exploration strategy, we used varying combinations of fuzzy MIN, fuzzy MAX, and fuzzy SUM operators along with Gamma operator for fusion of exploration data, including the contact metamorphic zone information. The final exploration target tested was a skarn type W-Mo-F mineralization in the study area. The fuzzy logic derived mineral potential anomaly almost exactly matched the differential baekscattering anomalies on the C-band and L-band SIR_C data when overlaid tin each other. Although this high degree of correlation between these two data sets is remarkable, the differential backscattering anomaly over the skarn type W-Mo-F mineralization in the study area requires further investigation.

        <P>Visual inpainting is an interpolation problem that restores an image or a frame with missing or damaged parts. Over the past decades, a number of computable models of visual inpainting have been developed, but most of these models are based on the pixel domain. Little theoretical and computational work of visual inpainting is based on the compressed domain. In this paper, a visual inpainting model in the discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain is proposed. DCT coefficients of the non-inpainting blocks are utilized to get block features, and those block features are propagated to the inpainting region iteratively. The experimental results with I frames of MPEG4 are presented to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed algorithm.</P>

      • Enhanced beamforming design and sum-rate maximization for two-way multi-relay networks

        <P>In this paper, we investigate an enhanced relay beamforming design for two-way relay networks (TWRN). In order to reduce the computational complexity, we derive a sum of the inverse of the signal-to-noise ratio (SI-SNR) problem equivalent to the objective sum-rate (SR) problem. The SI-SNR problem can be reformulated as a simple optimization problem by using the Cholesky decomposition and Cauchy-Schwarz inequality, and solved by the interior-point method. The numerical results show that the proposed SI-SNR method can not only reduce the computational complexity but also have the same SR performance as that of the conventional works.</P>

      • Sum-rate maximization and robust beamforming design for MIMO two-way relay networks with reciprocal and imperfect CSI

        <P>In this paper, we investigate the robust relay beamforming design for a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) two-way relay networks (TWRN) by considering imperfect and reciprocal channel state informations (CSIs). In order to maximize the sum-rate (SR) subject to the individual relay power constraint, we first equivalently convert the objective problem into a sum of the inverse of the signal-to-residual-interference-plus-noise ratio (SI-SRINR) problem. The SI-SRINR problem can be reformulated as a biconvex semi-definite programming (SDP) which employs bounded channel uncertainties as the worst-case model. Then, we convert residual-interference-plus-noise (RIN) and relay power constraints into linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By this way, the objective problem can be tackled by the proposed efficient iterative algorithm. The analysis demonstrates the procedures of the proposed SI-SRINR robust design.</P>

        중등교원양성기관 졸업자의 직업선택에 관한 영향요인 탐색

        본 연구의 목적은 전공-취업의 불일치 현상이 심화되고, 특히 중등교원양성기관 졸업자가 과잉 공급되고 있는 현 상황에서 중등교원양성기관 졸업자의 취업 현황과 이들에 대한 영향요인을 실증적으로 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 중등양성기관의 졸업자의 전공-직업 일치여부를 1) 중등교원 및 교육전문직에 종사하는 경우와 2) 교육ㆍ연구직까지 확장한 직종에 종사하는 경우로 구분하여 분석하였다. 중등교원양성기관 졸업자의 약 26%는 전공-취업에 일치한 직업에 종사하는 것으로 확인되었으며, 전공-직업이 불일치한 경우 취업하지 못한 비율이 높게 나타났다. 또한 전공-취업의 일치여부는 소득과 직업만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으나, 교육ㆍ연구직으로 확인했을 때 소득에 대한 차이는 유의미하지 않았다. 마지막으로 전공-직업의 일치 여부에 미치는 영향요인 탐색을 위하여 Logistic Regression 분석을 실시한 결과, 개인 수준의 특성은 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 대학 수준의 특성에서 국공립 대학이 사립대학에 비해 전공-직업이 일치할 확률이 높게 나타났으며, 졸업자의 전공계열, 복수전공 여부, 대학원 진학 여부, 전공 만족도 등이 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 분석 결과에 기초하여 향후 중등교원양성기관 졸업자의 전공-진로의 일치를 위한 대학 교육에서의 정책적인 시사점을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to empirically identify the employment status of graduates of secondary school teacher education institution and their impact on them, especially at a time when the phenomenon of major-employment mismatch is deepening and there is a glut of graduates from secondary school teacher education institution. To this end, it was analyzed separately whether graduates of secondary education institutions were matched in their majors-to-job positions, as if they were engaged in jobs that expanded to 1) secondary school teacher and education professionals, and 2) educational and academic research positions. About 26 percent of graduates from secondary school institutions were found to be engaged in jobs that matched their major-job status, with a high percentage of those who failed to get a job if their major-job occupation was inconsistent. In addition, it was found that harmonization of major-employment had an impact on income and job satisfaction, but the difference in income was not significant when identified by the Education and Public Research Institute. Finally, the Logistic Review analysis to explore the factors affecting the match between majors and professions showed that the characteristics of the individual level did not affect the characteristics of the individual level, that the national and public universities were more likely to match majors compared to private universities, and that the degree of majors, multidisciplinary majors, graduate school status, and degree satisfaction of majors were affected. Based on these analysis results, the policy implications in college education for the future major- career matching of graduates of secondary school education institutions were presented.
