      • ARP Spoofing Detection and guarding algorithm

        During the network communication process, attacker carry on ARP spoofing by using the disadvantage of the ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) protocol, this phenomenon seriously threatens the LAN security. This paper will introduce the commonly used ARP spoofing methods such as internal/external network sniffing, interception, malicious attack and so on. It presents the Matching IP method, Data monitor method, Echo time method, ARP response analysis method, software tools detecting method as well as the new method of ARP cache updating, using switching equipment to control and other strategy and presents the algorithm to keep ARP spoofing away and maintain network security.

        In situ synthesis of “brick and mortar”-type lignin-derived carbon/TiO2 composite with a remarkable photocatalytic performance

        Alkali lignin (AL), an industrial waste from pulping black liquor, is mainly applied as a low-gradecombustible energy source. Design and preparation of high value-added materials with AL is still achallenge. In this work, wefirstly introduced ammonium group into AL and prepared quaternized alkalilignin (QAL) for improving the solubility in acidic aqueous solution. Then a facile sol–gel andcarbonization process was developed to fabricate lignin-derived carbon/TiO2 (LC/TiO2) compositephotocatalyst using QAL as the carbon precursor. The microstructural characteristics and optical propertyof the LC/TiO2 composite were systematically characterized. Composite exhibited a “brick (TiO2nanoparticles) and mortar (LC)”-type construction, and TiO2 nanoparticles were coated with LC. Theintroduction of LC endowed TiO2 with extended photoabsorption region and enhanced separation ofphoto-generated charge carriers. LC/TiO2 obtained at a carbonization temperature of 650 C presentedthe highest photocatalytic activity for the degradation of organic dye, which was about 3.4 times that ofbare TiO2. Moreover, LC/TiO2 also presented good recyclability. This facile strategy not only offers greatopportunities for the high value-added application of industrial lignin, but also promotes the practicalapplication of TiO2 photocatalyst.

        Investigation of grafted sulfonated alkali lignin polymer as dispersant in coal-water slurry

        A novel grafted sulfonated alkali lignin polymers (GSAL) with hydrophilic side chain and differentmolecular weights prepared were used as dispersants for coal-water slurry (CWS). The viscosityreduction for CWS had been attributed primarily to the diminution of coal particles (adsorbed GSAL)interaction of steric electrostatic repulsion and dramatic wettability. The adsorption amount of GSAL-3can reach to 1.58 mg/g, and the isotherm of GSAL on coal surface belongs to the Langmuir model, theelectrostatic self-assembly result indicated the dominant driving force of GSAL absorbed on coal surfacewas the p–p interaction. GSAL was superior in reducing the viscosities of CWS.

        Influences of aggregation behavior of lignin on the microstructure and adsorptive properties of lignin-derived porous carbons by potassium compound activation

        In this work, lignin-derived porous carbon was prepared using alkali lignin (AL) or lignosulfonic acid (LS)as a precursor to reveal the activation effects of potassium compound (KHCO3, K2CO3 and KOH) ontechnical lignin with different degree of aggregation. Quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation andatomic force microscope testing results showed that KHCO3 had the best activation effect on AL having ahighly aggregated and dense microstructure, thanks to the expansion effect from KHCO3. LS has a highlydispersed and loose microstructure, and KOH had the best activation effect on LS. This is because thestabilizing effect from KOH could avoid excessive destruction of pore structure during carbonization andactivation process. Therefore, the specific surface area of AL-derived porous carbon obtained with KHCO3and LS-derived porous carbon obtained with KOH could reach 2084 and 2770 m2 g 1, while theabsorption capacity could reach 701 and 870 mg g 1 for sulfamethazine respectively. Our result providesa theoretical base for preparing high quality lignin-derived porous carbon adsorbent with different kindsof technical lignin

        Two-component zeolite-alumina system for toluene trapping with subsequent nonthermal plasma mineralization

        Two-component zeolite-alumina packed dielectric barrier discharge plasma was developed to deeplymineralize toluene. Compared with packing ZSM-5 and g-Al2O3 separately in layers, uniform mixing ofZSM-5 and g-Al2O3 was more conducive to the mineralization of adsorbed toluene in nonthermal plasma. When the mixing ratio of ZSM-5 to g-Al2O3 was 1:2, the mineralization rate reached 80% afterdischarging for 120 min. Ag supported on the catalyst surface significantly improved the selectivity ofCO2. Increased relative humidity had little effect on the mineralization of adsorbed toluene, butsignificantly reduced the byproducts O3 and N2O. The adsorption and plasma mineralizationperformance of Ag/ZSM-5-g-Al2O3 duringfive cycles of toluene adsorption was stable with only thepeak concentration of CO showing a slight upward trend. GC–MS, TG, and XPS characterization of freshand used catalysts revealed deactivation of Ag/ZSM-5-g-Al2O3 in terms of CO oxidation due tointermediate organic residues and decreased amounts of Ag+ and lattice oxygen on the support ZSM-5instead of g-Al2O3.
