There is increasing interest in development of methods for wine characterization to guarantee traceability and product safety. Metabolomics represents a valuable tool to trace the metabolic fingerprint of complex mixtures. Wines from 22 pure varieties (autochthonous from Southern Italy and grown in the same area of Apulia) were genetically identified and metabolically characterized using both NMR and HPLC-MS. NMR associated with chemometrics was used to identify amino acid (proline, alanine, and tyrosine), organic acid (malic, lactic, acetic, and succinic acids), alcohol (2-phenylethanol), sugar (sucrose), and polyphenol (gallic acid) contents. Minor components of wines were determined using HPLC-MS analyses. Wines showed potential health-promoting effects with good amounts of phenolic compounds. In particular, consistent levels of trans-resveratrol and flavonoids were found in Negro Amaro, Uva di Troia, Ancellotta, and Montepulciano wines.
Single coronary artery originating from the right sinus Valsalva and ability to work

We present a case of a 56-year-old male electrician who was admitted to the hospital with atrial fibrillation, atypical chest pain and dyspnea. He gave a history that on the morning he had working for almost 4 hours carrying out various activities with considerable physical effort. After cardioversion, conventional coronary angiography revealed a suspect of single coronary vessel (SCA) arising from the right sinus of Valsalva. The patient underwent multislice computed tomography that showed a SCA arising from the right sinus Valsalva and dividing in Right Coronary Artery (RCA) and Left Main coronary artery (LM). The finding of posterior course of the LM without atherosclerotic has proved crucial for the expression of an opinion of working capacity even with limitation.

Since the earliest reports, advanced clipping systems have been developed, and it is possible to choose among many models with differentstructural and technical features. The main drawback of through-the-scope clips is their small size, which allows the compressionof limited amounts of tissue needed for large-size vessel treatment. Therefore, the over-the-scope clip system was realized, allowing alarger and stronger mechanical compression of large tissue areas, with excellent results in achieving a definitive hemostasis in difficultcases. Many studies have analyzed the indications and efficacy of two-pronged endoclips and have shown good results for initial andpermanent hemostasis. The aim of this review was to provide updated information on indications, positioning techniques, and resultsof clip application for endoscopic treatment of upper gastrointestinal non-variceal bleeding lesions.
