• Research on the Localization Algorithm of Transmitting Station Based on RSSI and GPS

Mingji Yang,Chenyi Zhan,Haoqun Shi 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.10 No.5

This paper presents an intelligent positioning algorithm for transmitting station. By using GPS and RSSI, the influence of RSSI value can be reduced. The advantages of multi angle positioning method and centroid localization method are combined. The algorithm required less precision positioning device, also the least square method is used to reduce the error of location in urban areas. The method is simple and convenient, and the simulation results show the practicability of the algorithm.

Meshing characteristics of spur gear pairs with tooth modification under different assembly errors and sensitivity analysis for impact factors

        Zhifang Zhao,Yang Yang,Hui Ma,Haixu Wang,Hongxu Tian,Chenyi Han 대한기계학회 2023 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.37 No.1

Assembly errors may change contact state of gear pairs, then induce failure and vibration. To reveal the effects of assembly errors and tooth modification on the meshing characteristics, the loaded tooth contact analysis (LTCA) is conducted through an improved algorithm. The time-varying meshing stiffness (TVMS), static transmission error (STE) and contact stress (CS) are calculated considering assembly errors and tooth modification. Then, sensitivity of meshing characteristics to coupling assembly errors are investigated based on the design of orthogonal experiment (DOE). The meshing characteristic analysis results show that assembly errors have a significant effect on mesh characteristics of the gear pair. The results of sensitivity analysis indicate that the meshing characteristic is the most sensitive to axial deviation for the model used in this paper.

        RPK118, a PX Domain-containing Protein, Interacts with Peroxiredoxin-3 through Pseudo-Kinase Domains

        Long Yu,Lingling Liu,Chenyi Yang,Jian Yuan,Xiujuan Chen,Jianing Xu,Youheng Wei,Jingchun Yang,Gang Lin 한국분자세포생물학회 2005 Molecules and cells Vol.19 No.1

RPK118 is a sphingosine kinase-1-binding protein that has been implicated in sphingosine 1 phosphate-mediated signaling. It contains a PX (phox homology) domain and two pseudo-kinase domains, and co-localizes with sphingosine kinase-1 on early endosomes. In this study we identified a novel RPK118-binding protein, PRDX3 (peroxiredoxin-3), by yeast two-hybrid screening. The interaction between these proteins was confirmed by pull-down assays and co-immunoprecipitation experi-ments. Deletion studies showed that RPK118 inter-acted with PRDX3 through its pseudokinase domains, and with early endosomes through its PX domain. Dou-ble immunofluorescence experiments demonstrated that PRDX3 co-localized with RPK118 on early endosomes in COS7 cells. PRDX3 is a member of the antioxidant family of proteins synthesized in the cytoplasm and functioning in mitochondria. Our findings indicate that RPK118 is a PRDX3-binding protein that may be involved in transporting PRDX3 from the cytoplasm to its mitochondrial site of function or to other mem-brane structures via endosome trafficking

Endoscopic Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

        Brown Nolan J.,Pennington Zach,Kuo Cathleen C.,Lopez Alexander M.,Picton Bryce,Solomon Sean,Nguyen Oanh T.,Yang Chenyi,Tantry Evelyne K.,Shahin Hania,Gendreau Julian,Albano Stephen,Pham Martin H.,Oh M 대한척추외과학회 2023 Asian Spine Journal Vol.17 No.6

Laparoscopic anterior lumbar interbody fusion (L-ALIF), which employs laparoscopic cameras to facilitate a less invasive approach, originally gained traction during the 1990s but has subsequently fallen out of favor. As the envelope for endoscopic approaches continues to be pushed, a recurrence of interest in laparoscopic and/or endoscopic anterior approaches seems possible. Therefore, evaluating the current evidence base in regard to this approach is of much clinical relevance. To this end, a systematic literature search was performed according to PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines using the following keywords: “(laparoscopic OR endoscopic) AND (anterior AND lumbar).” Out of the 441 articles retrieved, 22 were selected for quantitative analysis. The primary outcome of interest was the radiographic fusion rate. The secondary outcome was the incidence of perioperative complications. Meta-analysis was performed using RStudio’s “metafor” package. Of the 1,079 included patients (mean age, 41.8±2.9 years), 481 were males (44.6%). The most common indication for L-ALIF surgery was degenerative disk disease (reported by 18 studies, 81.8%). The mean follow-up duration was 18.8±11.2 months (range, 6–43 months). The pooled fusion rate was 78.9% (95% confidence interval [CI], 68.9–90.4). Complications occurred in 19.2% (95% CI, 13.4–27.4) of L-ALIF cases. Additionally, 7.2% (95% CI, 4.6–11.4) of patients required conversion from L-ALIF to open surgery. Although L-ALIF does not appear to be supported by studies available in the literature, it is important to consider the context from which these results have been obtained. Even if these results are taken at face value, the failure of endoscopy to have a role in the ALIF approach does not mean that it should not be incorporated in posterior approaches.

      • Study on the detection behavior of defect-rich single-walled carbon nanotubes toward perchlorate

        Chen, Yi,Nguyen, Thuy Hang,Zhang, Shao Lin,Zhang, Z.,Yue, Hongyan,Jian, Jiawen,Yang, Woo-Chul World Scientific Publishing Company 2018 Functional materials letters Vol.11 No.2

Defect-rich single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) were prepared by a water vapor flow-assisted chemical vapor deposition process. The correlation between defect density and water flow was quantitively studied using Raman spectrum. The detection capabilities of defective SWCNTs films toward perchlorate anions were investigated. It was found the defect-rich SWCNTs could adsorb more perchlorate anions owing to the strong chemical bonding between anions and defective sites. However, the detective response of defective SWCNTs toward perchlorate was not in compliance with anion adsorption. A tradeoff phenomenon between response and adsorption was found as the defect density of SWCNTs increased. This work is expected to provide a guidance to the future design of SWCNTs based ion detector.
