Robust Adaptive and Sliding Mode Synchronization of Uncertain Chaotic Systems
Cheng Gan,Zhaorui Ma,Junwei Lei,Ruiqi Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.9 No.1
Parameter uncertainty of chaotic systems brings the complexity to the design of control law in many past research papers. In order to simplify the design of adaptive PID composite synchronous rule further and use the robust control method to deal with uncertainty conveniently, two kind of robust adaptive and nonlinear sliding mode synchronization algorithms are proposed for uncertain chaotic systems in this paper. The design strategy of the algorithm lies in using the boundedness of chaotic systems. The unknown information of driven system and response system is limited to be a given uncertainty range described by a bounded function. The robust adaptive controller is designed to complete synchronization. At last, it can be seen from the simulation that chaotic systems can achieve synchronization and eliminate the vibration phenomenon at the same time. The only disadvantage is that the precision of synchronization is limited by the control gain.
Adaptive Synchronization of Chaotic Systems with known Response System Parameters
Cheng Gan,Yuan Cheng,Ruiqi Wang,Junwei Lei 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.8 No.5
A kind of adaptive synchronous control method was proposed to solve a special synchronization problem between two chaotic systems, where the response system is totally known without uncertainty but the driven system contains both unknown parameters and uncertain nonlinear functions. An update law of estimation of unknown parameters of driven system by constructing a proper Lyapunov energy function and the stability of the whole system was guaranteed by Lyapunov stability theorem. What is worthy pointing out is that the chaotic systems are not required to satisfy the Lipscitz condition. At last, detailed numerical situation was done to show the rightness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
Ruptured Spinal Dermoid Cysts with Lipid Droplets into the Syrinx Cavity : Reports of Fourteen Cases
Cheng, Cheng,Li, Rong,Gao, Haihao,Tao, Benzhang,Wang, Hui,Sun, Mengchun,Gao, Gan,Wang, Jianzhen,Shang, Aijia The Korean Neurosurgical Society 2022 Journal of Korean neurosurgical society Vol.65 No.3
Objective : Dermoid cysts are uncommon in spinal cord tumors, and the phenomenon of their spontaneous rupture into the syrinx cavity is quite rare. We aimed to analyze the imaging characteristics and etiologies, and propose some surgical strategies, for this uncommon phenomenon. Methods : We retrospectively reviewed 14 cases with spinal dermoid cysts that ruptured into the cervical and thoracic syrinx cavity. There were six male and eight female cases, aged 21 to 46 years, who had lipid droplets in the syrinx cavity from C1 to L3. The dermoid cysts were always located at the conus. Based on patients' complaints, clinical manifestations, and imaging results, we adopted tumor excision and/or syrinx cavity aspiration in one stage or multiple stages. Results : Three patients had only a syrinx cavity aspiration surgery due to a history of dermoid cyst excision. Eight patients had dermoid cyst resection and syrinx cavity aspiration in one stage. One patient was operated upon in two stages due to the development of new symptoms at nine months follow-up. Two patients underwent only tumor resection since they did not show similar symptoms or signs caused by the cervicothoracic syrinx. The axial magnetic resonance imaging indicated that the lipid droplets were always not at the center but were eccentric. The clinical effect was satisfactory during the follow-up period in this group. Conclusion : The lipid droplets filled the spinal syrinx cavity, not entirely confined to the central canal. Based on the chief complaints and associated signs, we adopted different surgical strategies and had satisfactory clinical results.
Identification of Prostate Cancer LncRNAs by RNA-Seq
Hu, Cheng-Cheng,Gan, Ping,Zhang, Rui-Ying,Xue, Jin-Xia,Ran, Long-Ke Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.21
Purpose: To identify prostate cancer lncRNAs using a pipeline proposed in this study, which is applicable for the identification of lncRNAs that are differentially expressed in prostate cancer tissues but have a negligible potential to encode proteins. Materials and Methods: We used two publicly available RNA-Seq datasets from normal prostate tissue and prostate cancer. Putative lncRNAs were predicted using the biological technology, then specific lncRNAs of prostate cancer were found by differential expression analysis and co-expression network was constructed by the weighted gene co-expression network analysis. Results: A total of 1,080 lncRNA transcripts were obtained in the RNA-Seq datasets. Three genes (PCA3, C20orf166-AS1 and RP11-267A15.1) showed a significant differential expression in the prostate cancer tissues, and were thus identified as prostate cancer specific lncRNAs. Brown and black modules had significant negative and positive correlations with prostate cancer, respectively. Conclusions: The pipeline proposed in this study is useful for the prediction of prostate cancer specific lncRNAs. Three genes (PCA3, C20orf166-AS1, and RP11-267A15.1) were identified to have a significant differential expression in prostate cancer tissues. However, there have been no published studies to demonstrate the specificity of RP11-267A15.1 in prostate cancer tissues. Thus, the results of this study can provide a new theoretic insight into the identification of prostate cancer specific genes.
SHAPE RECOGNITION IN MULTIRESOLUTION ENVIRONMENT BY MEANS OF THE LABELED HOUGH TECHNIQUE
Gan, Yang Jin,Cheng, Zhang Dian 대한전자공학회 1992 HICEC:Harbin International Conference on Electroni Vol.1 No.1
This paper develops a new structural approach for shape recognition in a multiresolution environment by means of the Labeled Hough Technique. It can be divided into several steps; 1. A local classification of the instances of the detected contour is performed, considering a fixed number of paradigm patterns; 2. Following a bottom-up procedure based on the generalized Hough technique, the local features are analyzed to look for greater aggregates of the recognized sub-shapes. The implementations of algorithm on a pyramid machine is considered; 3. The improvement of the performances is obtained by adopting planning strategies based on hierarchies and multiresolution facilities. Some experimental results on artificial image are finally shown and discussed.

A series of azole-containing piperazine derivatives have been designed and synthesized. The obtained compounds were investigated in vitro for their antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxic activities. The preliminary results showed that most compounds exhibited moderate to significant antibacterial and antifungal activities in vitro. 1-(4-((4-chlorophenyl) (phenyl)methyl)piperazin-1-yl)-2-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)ethanone and 1-(4-((4-Chlorophenyl)(phenyl)methyl)piperazin-1-yl)-2-(2-phenyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)ethanone gave remarkable and broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy against all tested strains with MIC values ranging from 3.1 to $25\;{\mu}g/mL$, and exhibited comparable activities to the standard drugs chloramphenicol and fluconazole in clinic. Moreover, 2-((4-((4-chlorophenyl)(phenyl)methyl)piperazin-1-yl)methyl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole was found to be the most effective in vitro against the PC-3 cell line, reaching growth inhibition values (36.4, 60.1 and 76.5%) for each tested concentration: $25\;{\mu}g/mL$, $50\;{\mu}g/mL$ and $100\;{\mu}g/mL$ in dose-dependent manner. The results also showed that the azole ring had noticeable effect on their antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities, and imidazole and benzimidazole moiety were much more favourable to biological activity than 1,2,4-triazole.
LATERAL STABILITY CONTROL OF A DISTRIBUTED ELECTRIC VEHICLE USING A NEW SLIDING MODE CONTROLER
Chen Yawei,Cheng Qian,Gan Huafu,Hao Xixiang,Yuan Chenheng 한국자동차공학회 2023 International journal of automotive technology Vol.24 No.4
Lateral instability is a key problem that restricts vehicle motion safety of distributed electric vehicles (DEV). This paper designs a new lateral control system composed of subsystems of high, middle and low levels and brings forth an improved sliding mode controller (SMC) method. The similar reference longitudinal velocity generation system is designed via neural network observer and fuzzy logic controller to ensure the smooth and safe driving of the vehicle on low adhesion roads. Relevant working simulation also is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the control method above. The results show that the new control system based on the improved SMC method brings about good yaw rate and speed tracking performance of vehicles and strong robustness of the control system, and can still ensure excellent lateral driving stability on the low adhesion roads, or when making a turn or the friction coefficient is changed.
