<P><B>Purpose</B></P><P>To describe the stroke-related Twitter network through analysis of the #Stroke hashtag.</P><P><B>Materials and methods</B></P><P>621 653 tweets containing the #Stroke hashtag were analyzed from 20 March 2012 to 31 January 2018. Twitter activity metrics, engagement, user characteristics, content analysis, and network analysis were obtained using the healthcare social media analytics platform, Symplur Signals.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>The number of users, the number of impressions, and the number of tweets containing the #Stroke hashtag increased by an annual average of 64.9%, 87.7%, and 89.2% over the past 6 years from 20 March 2012 to 31January 2018. 69 371 tweets (11.2%) contained novel content and 48 568 tweets (7.8%) related to patient care. 181 120 (29.1%) tweets contained at least one image and 436 132 tweets (70.2%) contained links to outside resources. Stroke prevention, diabetes, and atrial fibrillation were commonly discussed topics. With regard to engagement, there were 259 438 retweets (41.7%), 366 561 mentions (59.0%), and 8549 replies (1.4%). Physicians and patients authored 52 197 (8.4%) and 41 822 (6.7%) tweets, respectively. Advocate organizations, patients, and non-healthcare individuals most frequently used the #Stroke hashtag on Twitter.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>The use of the #Stroke hashtag on Twitter has grown significantly over the 6-year study period. The majority of the discussions were held between stroke support groups and non-healthcare-related individuals, with discussion content centering around stroke prevention, stroke symptoms, associated medical conditions, and treatment options.</P>

Martin Wells Knapp (1853-1901) is an often mentioned but little understood figure in American and World Christian historiography. As the progenitor of Pentecostalism as well as of several large Holiness denominations, he was clearly an important figure. This essay seeks to place Knapp in his historical context, so that the attractiveness of Knapp’s social and theological vision might be better understood and appreciated. Knapp, as other were doing, described his vision as “Pentecostal,” a term that would be later adopted by his students into modern Pentecostalism. Knapp understood “Pentecostal” to be a biblical approach to life and ministry, undertaken according to the paradigm of the biblical Acts of the Apostles and the life of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels. Knapp pastoral ministry in Adrian, Michigan, and his multi-faceted urban ministry in Cincinnati, Ohio, are discussed using a five point heuristic grid: Urbanization, Industrialization and Modernization, Democratization: The Issue of Power; Aspirations for Humanization; Global vision in a period of American ascendancy; and “Pentecost:” a paradigm for the new reality. The article concludes that Knapp found an effective theological synthesis and approach to ministry well suited to the conditions of American society. As a preacher-theologian of the American progressive era, he was part of that movement to purify American culture and transform its values.
Low Levels of after School-Hours Social Interaction and Physical Activity of 5-7 Year Olds

As part of a cluster randomized controlled trial (Bundy et al., 2017), the after school-hours activities of 5-7 year old children were recorded by parents and other adult carers on four consecutive weekdays between 3:30pm-7:00pm. Records of time use showed most time was spent indoors in activities involving low levels of physical activity. The most-frequently-recorded activity was screen time, accounting for approximately one quarter of all activities. Higher levels of physical activity were reported when children were outdoors (19.5% of time) and/or with peers (9.58%). If an adult was present, highest activity levels of children occurred when the child was with a teacher/carer (6.07%). Although concern is frequently raised about children spending too much time in organized activities, these structured forms of out-of-school choices accounted for only 8.09% of recordings. The results of the current study strengthen the evidence base, supporting the need to optimise out-ofschool times with more developmentally important social and physical contexts. We discuss ways in which context may support or inhibit opportunities physical activity in after school-hours activities.

Both Seoul Theological University and Nazarene Theological College are heirs to the theological and reform traditions of the Radical Holiness networks. STU’s links are perhaps less complicated, coming primarily through Nakada and Thomas. Nazarene Theological College is a successor to Star Hall, by circuitous routes, and has drunk at the same British and North American sources. In their diverse ministries, both encompass the values of the Radical Holiness networks. It is therefore appropriate that Seoul Theological University and Manchester Wesley Research Center are beginning a conversation from our different cultural vantage points and common commitments of our shared heritage. We urge Christians to be more than “Almost Christians.” When Wesley was asked about his understanding of holiness or sanctification, he would often cite the “great commandment”: that we are to love God with all of our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves.
