Baoping Guo,Zhuangzhi Zhang,Xueting Zheng,Yongzhong Guo,Li Zhao,Ren Cai,Bingjie Wang,Mei Yang,Xi Shou,Wenbao Zhang,Bin Jia 대한기생충학ㆍ열대의학회 2019 The Korean Journal of Parasitology Vol.57 No.2

Echinococcus granulosus is an important zoonotic parasite globally causing cystic echinococcosis (CE) in hu- mans and animals. In this study, prevalence of CE and variation of cox1 gene sequence were analyzed with isolates E. granulosus collected from different areas in northern Xinjiang, China. The survey showed that 3.5% of sheep and 4.1% of cattle were infected with CE. Fragment of cox1 was amplified from all the positive sheep and cattle samples by PCR. In addition, 26 positive samples across the 4 areas were included. The isolates were all E. granulosus sensu stricto (s.s.) containing 15 haplotypes (Hap1-15), and clustered into 2 genotypes, G1 (90.1%, 91/101) and G3 (9.9%, 10/101). Hap1 was the most common haplotype (48.5%, 49/101). Hap9 were found in humans samples, indicating that sheep and cattle reservoir human CE. It is indicate that E. granulosus may impact on control of CE in livestock and humans in the region.

Robust Finite-time Control for Neutral Systems with Time-varying Delays via Sliding Mode Observer

        Shuqin Wang,Baoping Jiang,Cunchen Gao,Yonggui Kao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2017 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.15 No.5

This paper is concerned with the problem of robust finite-time sliding mode control (SMC) for a classof continuous-time uncertain neutral systems with time-varying delays. Firstly, based on the constructed slidingmode observer, an integral sliding surface is put forward on the estimation space. Secondly, the synthesized SMClaw guarantees the finite-time reachability of the predefined sliding surface. Thirdly, through finite-time stabilityanalysis, sufficient conditions are established to guarantee the required performance of the system during bothreaching phase and sliding motion phase. Finally, a practical example is provided to verify the effectiveness of theproposed method.

Effect of Chitosan Solution on the Inhibition of Pseudomonas fluorescens Causing Bacterial Head Rot of Broccoli

        Bin Li,Baoping Liu,Ting Su,Yuan Fang,Guanlin Xie,Guofen Wang,Yanli Wang,Guochang Sun 한국식물병리학회 2010 Plant Pathology Journal Vol.26 No.2

The in vitro antibacterial properties of two kinds of chitosan solutions and their effect in protection of broccoli from bacterial head rot disease were evaluated. Results showed that the two kinds of chitosan solution at different concentrations exhibited strong antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas fluorescens. However, the antibacterial activity of chitosan A solution increased with the increase of chitosan concentration up to 0.10mg/ml while the antibacterial activity of chitosan B solution increased with the increase of chitosan concentration up to 0.05 mg/ml. In addition, the antibacterial activity of chitosan A and chitosan B solution of 0.10mg/ml increased with the incubation time within 12 h and 24 h, respectively. The disease incidence and the lesion diameter of broccoli inoculated with P. fluorescens were significantly reduced when plants were either pretreated or post-treated with six different combinations of chitosan solutions. Overall, the results indicated that the two kinds of chitosan solutions had a potential in controlling bacterial head rot of broccoli.

A YOLOv4 Model with FPN for Service Plates Detection

Li Chaofeng,Wang Baoping 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.4

Intelligent service plates detection plays an important role in smart city. For example, intelligent service plates detection can realize more effi cient and accurate self-service charges for restaurants, and saves labor costs, additionally. This paper constructs a service plates detection dataset. On this basis, Faster R-CNN and MobilenetV3 are fi rstly leveraged to conduct service plates detection. In addition, authors propose an intelligent service plate detection method based on FPN (Feature Pyramid Network) + YOLOv4 network. Specifi cally, YOLOv4 is utilized to extract initial image features, and a variant of FPN network for YOLOv4 backbone is designed to aggregate multi-granularity image features. To boost the training effi ciency, transfer learning algorithm is also introduced into our approach. Through the corporation of FPN + YOLOv4 framework and transfer learning algorithm, they realize the accurate and fast intelligent service plate detection. The experimental results show that: compared with MobilenetV3 model and faster R-CNN, our method achieves great improvement. In the future, authors will improve the network to achieve higher accuracy and faster calculation speed, and expand our data set to more realistic scene images

Bacterial Fruit Rot of Apricot Caused by Burkholderia cepacia in China

        Fang, Yuan,Li, Bin,Wang, Fang,Liu, Baoping,Wu, Zhiyi,Su, Ting,Qiu, Wen,Xie, Guanlin The Korean Society of Plant Pathology 2009 Plant Pathology Journal Vol.25 No.4

An unreported disease of apricot was observed in orchards in Zhejiang province, China. Symptoms started as water soaked lesions on the fruit surface. Later, water-soaked areas developed and spread to the entire fruit, resulting in soft rot of the whole fruit. The causal organism isolated from symptomatic fruits was identified as Burkholderia cepacia based on its biochemical and physiological characteristics and confirmed by the cellular fatty acid composition and Biolog data as well as 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. The bacterial isolates caused similar symptoms when inoculated onto fruits of apricot. In addition, European plum, Japanese plum, nectarine and kiwifruit were susceptible to the B. cepacia pathogen. However, the B. cepacia pathogen failed to cause any visible symptoms when it was inoculated onto 16 other fruits. This is the first report of a bacterial disease of apricot caused by B. cepacia in China.

Geometric accuracy of incremental sheet forming for TRIP590

Lihua Li,Jin Wang,Baoping Wang 대한기계학회 2017 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.31 No.11

TRIP steels have both high strength and good ductility, and they are typically used in automotive industry for the purpose of safety and energy saving. Deforming TRIP steel by ISF is practically valuable, but the application is significantly restricted by its geometric accuracy. At present, there is not enough research on geometric accuracy for TRIP steels. In this study, we explored the geometric accuracy of ISF for TRIP590 by referring to 1060Al steel and 08F steel. We found that the accuracy of TRIP590 steel was the lowest, which was because of the phase transformation of the material which occurred during deformation. To verify this, X-ray diffraction was employed to figure out the volume fraction of retained austenite. The results have shown that there is always TRIP effect during ISF process, and the relationship between natural logarithm of austenite volume fraction and the equivalent strain is negative linear. Lastly, it is proved that multiple reverse compensations could improve the geometric accuracy for TRIP steels.

      • Hot Electron Field Emission via Individually Transistor-Ballasted Carbon Nanotube Arrays

        Li, Chi,Zhang, Yan,Cole, Matthew T.,Shivareddy, Sai G.,Barnard, Jon S.,Lei, Wei,Wang, Baoping,Pribat, Didier,Amaratunga, Gehan A. J.,Milne, William I. American Chemical Society 2012 ACS NANO Vol.6 No.4

We present electronically controlled field emission characteristics of arrays of individually ballasted carbon nanotubes synthesized by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition on silicon-on-insulator substrates. By adjusting the source–drain potential we have demonstrated the ability to controllable limit the emission current density by more than 1 order of magnitude. Dynamic control over both the turn-on electric field and field enhancement factor have been noted. A hot electron model is presented. The ballasted nanotubes are populated with hot electrons due to the highly crystalline Si channel and the high local electric field at the nanotube base. This positively shifts the Fermi level and results in a broad energy distribution about this mean, compared to the narrow spread, lower energy thermalized electron population in standard metallic emitters. The proposed vertically aligned carbon nanotube field-emitting electron source offers a viable platform for X-ray emitters and displays applications that require accurate and highly stable control over the emission characteristics.

Graphic Abstract
