A Systematic Review of Use Cases based Software Testing Techniques

Use case based Software testing concerned with testing an entire system’s functionality and its constraints. User’s requirements can be drawn in form of use cases to show the internal and external behaviour of a system. The use case has been used to test software system for different levels as well as through many ways according to nature of software. Rather than proposing a new technique, it is necessary to synthesize the existing techniques of Use case based software testing which is available in the literature. A Systematic Literature Review has been performed to investigate all the current approaches of Use case based software testing techniques. A question-wise analysis has also been presented for the researchers to investigate the effectiveness of these techniques. In results, we have discussed all the existing approaches of Use case based software testing along with its strengths & weaknesses and measure the characteristics of these approaches based on some key parameters. We have concluded the current state of the art of all the existing approaches of Use case based testing. Results are based on both types of analysis; Qualitative as well as Quantitative.
Intelligent Healthcare Service Provisioning Using Ontology with Low-Level Sensory Data

Ubiquitous Healthcare (u-Healthcare) is the intelligent delivery of healthcare services to users anytime and anywhere. To provide robust healthcare services, recognition of patient daily life activities is required. Context information in combination with user real-time daily life activities can help in the provision of more personalized services, service suggestions, and changes in system behavior based on user profile for better healthcare services. In this paper, we focus on the intelligent manipulation of activities using the Context-aware Activity Manipulation Engine (CAME) core of the Human Activity Recognition Engine (HARE). The activities are recognized using video-based, wearable sensor-based, and location-based activity recognition engines. An ontology-based activity fusion with subject profile information for personalized system response is achieved. CAME receives real-time low level activities and infers higher level activities, situation analysis, personalized service suggestions, and makes appropriate decisions. A two-phase filtering technique is applied for intelligent processing of information (represented in ontology) and making appropriate decisions based on rules (incorporating expert knowledge). The experimental results for intelligent processing of activity information showed relatively better accuracy. Moreover, CAME is extended with activity filters and T-Box inference that resulted in better accuracy and response time in comparison to initial results of CAME.

The mango sudden death syndrome has become a serious threat to the mango industry and caused significant decline in mango production worldwide. The bark beetle Hypocryphalus mangiferae (Stebbing) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) has been suggested as a potential vector of the disease based primarily on field observations with little or no supporting empirical data. In this study, we investigated the role of infected mango trees in host attraction and colonization by H. mangiferae to determine if beetle attack and colonization contributes to the disease progression on mango trees. Initially, the role of various stress factors on beetle attraction and disease progression was assessed under lathe house conditions from 2008 to 2009. Results suggest that symptomatic or recently inoculated mango trees (without any obvious symptoms) are preferentially colonized by H. mangiferae. Although not significant, high numbers of beetles attacked stressed or wounded mango trees, compared to healthy or dead mango trees. Disease symptoms after beetle colonization, such as bark splitting, wilting and oozing, were further evaluated. These symptoms showed positive correlation with the degree of disease severity and host plant condition. Furthermore, two fungi, Ceratocystis fimbriata and Lasiodiplodia theobromae, were frequently isolated from the beetle and beetle-colonized trees. Based on these findings, they suggests that H. mangiferae can vector multiple fungi associated with mango sudden decline disease and play a significant role in outbreaks of this disease.

To accommodate constantly growing knowledge in scientific discourse that is revised over time by domain experts, we need to also evolve our ontology. The body of knowledge will get structured and refined as we develop a deeper understanding of issues. Keeping trail of new changes in semantically rich and formally sound mechanism has pragmatic advantages for providing the undo and redo facility and ontology recovery to a previous state. In this research, we have proposed a framework that support change logging and then using these logged changes for reverting ontology to a previous consistent state and visualization of change effects on ontology. The system is compared with ChangesTab of Protégé and the results depict better accuracy for our system.

Hypocryphalus mangiferae Stebbing is one of the most destructive insect pests of mango trees and is found to be associated with the transmission of causal organisms of mango sudden death disease. The present study was carried out to evaluate the toxicity of deltamethrin, bifenthrin, chlorpyrifos, emamectin benzoate, imidacloprid and spinosad in laboratory and field trials. Bioassay results showed that the toxicity of chlorpyrifos was significantly higher than deltamethrin but similar to bifenthrin. Deltamethrin and bifenthrin toxicity, however, increased significantly (P < 0.01) from day 1 to day 3. Spinosad was the least toxic compound while emamectin was the most toxic among new chemical insecticides tested, but its toxicity increased significantly from day 1 to day 5. Comparison of the efficacies of the insecticides using lethal times to produce 50% mortality (LT50) and 90% mortality (LT90) showed that the relative potencies of chlorpyrifos, emamectin, imidacloprid and spinosad were greater than bifenthrin and deltamethrin. The results of field trials showed the highest number of beetles emerged from the control twigs while significantly fewer beetles emerged from the twigs treated with bifenthrin (P < 0.05), which accounted for 12% for bifenthrin compared to that of the control. The present study demonstrated increased toxicities of systemic insecticides and chlorpyrifos compared to toxicities of deltamethrin and bifenthrin, suggesting these insecticides could be an alternative tool in a comprehensive H. mangiferae management program to eradicate the beetles from mango orchards.

So far, many researches have been conducted in the area of audio based context recognition. Nevertheless, most of them are based on existing feature extraction techniques derived from linear signal processing such as Fourier transform, wavelet transform, linear prediction... Meanwhile, environmental audio signal may potentially contains non-linear dynamic properties. Therefore, it is a big potential to utilize non-linear dynamic signal processing techniques in audio based context recognition.

Waste from the food is a challenge to the environment all over the globe, hence there is need to be recycled. There is a great deal of renewable energy potential in the biomass of vegetables and fruits, which can be used to generate power and steam, as well as fuel for human consumption and laboratory solvents. To maintain the nutritional, antioxidative, and functional qualities of sapota fruit, wine was made by fermenting it with wine yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). The wine’s approximate composition was as follows: total soluble solids, 2.38°Brix; total sugar, 3.8 g/100 ml tartaric acidity (TA), 1.29 g tartaric acidity total phenolics, 0.21 g/100 mL; pH, 3.02; acid/100 mL; pH, 3.02; total phenolics, 0.21 g/ 100 mL; 22 g/100 ml -carotene; 1.78 g/100 ml ascorbic acid mg/100 ml; 0.64 mg/100 ml lactic acid; and The ethanol percentage is 8.23% (v/v). The sapota wine was delicious. A DPPH-scavenging 2, 2-diphenyl-1picryl hydroxyl (DPPH) at a dosage of 250 g/ml, the activity was 46%. Infrared alcohols, phenethylamines, and other compounds were discovered via spectroscopy.

<P>The Semantic Web is dependent on extensive knowledge management by interlinking resources on the web using matching techniques. This role is played by the progressing domain of ontology matching, by introducing ontology-matching tools. The focus of these matching tools is limited to matching techniques and automation, rather than expressive formal representation of alignments. We propose Mediation Bridge Ontology (MBO), an expressive alignment representation ontology used to store correspondences between matching ontologies matched by our ontology-matching tool, System for Parallel Heterogeneity Resolution (SPHeRe). The MBO utilizes object-oriented design patterns and the proposed ontology-alignment design patterns to provide extendibility and reusability factors to SPHeRe system. We compared our proposed system with existing systems using Coupling Factor, Number of Polymorphic methods and Rate of Change metrics to support extendibility and reusability. These factors contribute to the overall objective of interoperability for knowledge management in the Semantic Web.</P>
