To find out the effects of silicate fertilizer application on in-vitro digestibility and nutrient productivity of grasses on the pasture mixtures, the experiment was treated with two same levels of lime and silicate fertilizer (2,000 and 4,000 ㎏/㏊) and lasted on newly developed hilly area near Suweon from August, 1984 to October, 1986. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Crude protein content of grasses with silicate fertilizer application was a little higher than those of lime and control plots, but crude fiber content was reverse trend. 2. Average in-vitro dry matter digestibility with lime application was slightly increased than that of silicate fertilization, however, the in-vitro organic matter digestibility was the highest at silicate fertilizer plot with insignificance in all treatments 3. Average energy productions with silicate fertilization were much more increased by 20-28% and 29-32% per ha than those of without lime/silicate fertilizer and with lime application, respectively. 4. Mineral contents and K/(Ca + Mg) equivalent ratio of grasses at silicate fertilizer plot were slightly increased among the treatments. However, considering the factors of occuring grass tetany and nutrient balance of animals, application of silicate fertilizer on the grassland was desirable.

草地造成用 2種 複合肥料를 開發코자 京畿化學의 試製品(N.P₂O??.K₂O-MgO.B₂O₃:8-25-7.3-0.2)을 一般單肥와 供試하여 겉뿌림 混播草地의 造成肥料로써의 肥效를 究明하였다. 本1報에서는 土壤의 化學性, 牧草의 初期生育狀에 미치는 影響을 檢討하였으며 그 結果는 다음과 같다. 1.草地 造成后 牧草의 出現 및 初期生育狀은 3要素施用區에 比해서 無肥區 및 無燐酸區가 매우 不良하였고, 3要素 施用區에서 肥種間의 差異는 耕微하였다. 2.充分한 燐酸施用과 더불어 3要素의 均衡施肥는 가을 播種后 및 次年度 越冬直后 牧草의 初期生育을 크게 增進시켜 牧草의 定着, 收量 및 牧草率을 提高시키고, 雜草를 抑壓시켰다. 3.草地造成時 MgO 3kg/10a(複肥中 3% 含有) 施用量은 土壤 및 牧草中 Mg 適正含量과 比較할때 매우 不足하였다. 따라서 造成時 增量施用 및 (또는) 管理肥料의 施用時 Mg 施肥가 要求된다. 또한 造成時 石灰肥料로써 苦土一石灰 肥料의 施用이 바람직하다. 4.草地造成時 P₂O??基準量의 施用에도 造成次年度 土攘中 有效 P₂O??含量이 不足하므로, 次年度 越冬直后 管理肥料料써 P₂O??施用이 必要하다. ㅁThis field experiment was undertaken to assess the effectiveness of magnesium-and boron-enriched complex fertilizer (8-25-7-3-0.2;N-P₂O??-K₂-MgO-B₂O₃)compared with some straight fertilizers on the hilly pasture establishment. This first part was concerned with the changes in the soil chemical properties and vigour of oversown forages at early growth in a mixed grass-clover sward. The results from a two-year experiment are summarized as follows: 1.The emergence and vigour of forage plants at early growth were consistently worsened by the teatments of whole control and only P-control(NK-plot),but no differences between them. The above two characteristics were, however, enhanced by the normal NPK applications without significant differences among the kinds of fertilizers used. 2.The normal NPK applications at pasture establishment led to the favorable establishment of forage plants, yield increment, and percent botanical composition of oversown forages. These results had been consistently affected by the enhancement of forage vigour at early grouth after the oversowing and the first wintering. Consequently, the botanical composition of weeds was consistently depressed during a period of the following harvesting years. 3.The application rate of 30kg MgO/ha with the complex fertilizer seemed to be insufficient, compared with the desirable contents of Mg in soils and mixed forages.Therefore, the applications of slaked magnesium lime at pasture establishment Mg fertilizer in the following years are desirably to be carried out. 4.In spite of the P-application at establishment, the content of P in soil was so in sufficient that the P-application after the first wintering was to be carried out.
