초기 정지상태의 유체로 포화되어 있는 수평 다공성 매길층의 하부면을 일정시간 비율로 등가속 가열을 할 때 자연대류의 유발조건을, 전파이론을 통해 예측하였다. Deep-pool계에 대하여 기본온도는 적분법으로 모사하고, 시간에 따른 교란의 변화를 고려한 전파이론을 통해 새로운 안정성 방정식을 유도하였다. 투과도가 상당히 작은 다공성 매질층에 Prandtl 수가 큰 유체가 포화되어 있는 경우, 자연대류 임계조건을 구하여 아래와 같은 상관식을 도출하였다. τ_c=6.55γ^(4/3)Ra^(-2/3) a_c=0.41γ^(-2/3)Ra^(1/3) 이를 Kaviany의 실험치들과 비교하여 볼 때, 발생되는 자연대류는 4τ_c에 감지될 정도로 증폭되는 것으로 나타났다. When an initially quiescent, fluid-saturated horizontal porous layer is heated by ramp-heating the botlom side of the layer at a constant temporal rate, the critical condition of the onset of natural convection is analyzed by employing the propagation theory. For deep-pool systems the base temperature profile is approximated by using the integral method and a new stability equation is generated through the propagation theory which considers the variations of disturbance with time. For infinite Prandtl-number fluids saturated in a porous layer to satisfy Darcy's law, the critical condition is deduced to have the following relation: τ_c=6.55γ^(4/3)Ra^(-2/3) a_c=0.41γ^(-2/3)Ra^(1/3) In comparison of the above prediction with the experimental data of Kaviany, it is seen that the initiated convection is amplified to observable magnitude at the time 4τ_c.

Surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is considered as one of promising medical and diagnostic technologies. The SERS effect is caused by the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) from metal nanoparticles with narrow hot spots. The mechanism of LSPR, development of nanostructure fabrication, and corresponding researches are discussed. The flexible, label-free, low-cost, and highly-sensitive Au/ZnONRs/G is introduced. The Au/ZnONRs/G detects and distinguishes cataract, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic macular edema from aqueous humor. Comprehension of SERS provides further improvement in bio sensing technology including early diagnosis and prolonged life expectancy.realize highly stretchable electrodes.

Sr2SiO4-Ba2SiO4 material system doped by Eu2+tion. The main concern was the precise control of excitation and emission spectra for maximum light yield and colorcoordinate, which was carried out by changing the composition of the alkaline earth ions in host lattice. The Sr2SiO4 :Eu-Ba2SiO4 : Eu system was found to be excellent for white LED applications with excitation in the 380-465 nm region.Especially, the yellow light intensity from (Sr,Ba)SiO4 : Eu phosphors was comparable to YAG : Ce phosphors in caseof blue LED excitation.
