우리나라의 인구의 고령화에 따른 노인인구가 증가하고 있다. 고령화에 따른 노인성질환의 경우 조기 스크리닝 또는 모니터링이 필요하다. 따라서 본 고에서는 ICT를 기반으로 질병을 스크린할 수 있는 생체정보를 수집할 수 있는 센서기술과 그 응용분야의 연구동향을 살펴보고자 한다.
Analysis of Breath from Diabetic Patients Based on a One-chip-type Sensor Array

Based on the results of studies on acetone excretion in diabetic patients, a one - chip sensors array was fabricated by combining ace- tone-selective sensor materials and volatile-organic-compound sensitive sensor materials. An electonic-nose was implemented using asensor array and confirmed selectivity for five gases. In this system, the excretion of diabetic patients and controls was sampled withsolid phase microextraction fiber and transferred to the sensor array. Although the control and diabetic patients were distinct, several samples failed. In the control group, the results of blood tests were normal, but patients were highly obese. In addition, the gas chro- matography mass spectrometry results for the subjects revealed chemicals that are external factors
휘발성유기화합물가스에 대한 폴리아닐린 센서의 감도 향상

Nano-structured polyaniline have been synthesized by interfacial polymerization method at room temperature. An aqueous solution of aniline in chloroform and another solution of ammonium peroxydisulfate in doping acid were prepared at different times terminated with methanol at room temperature. SEM, UV-vis were used to characterize the polyaniline with regard to their morphology and structure. The diameter and length of polyaniline can be controlled by the reaction time. Nano-structured polyaniline were found to have superior sensitivity for volatile organic compounds(VOCs). As the reaction time to increase from 30minute to 2hours the sensitivity were decreased to VOCs vapors. The sensitivity of Nano-structured polyaniline sensor appeared to VOCs better than the sensitivity of chemical synthesis sensors. The sensitivity of Nano-structured polyaniline sensor improved benzene vapors.
가스센서 어레이를 이용한 산림환경 내 치유물질 측정시스템을 통한자연적 휘발성 유기화합물(NVOCs)과 인위적 휘발성 유기화합물(AVOCs) 분류

Forest healing is an activity that enhances immunity and human health using various elements of nature, such as fragrance and scenery. Particularly, phytoncide composed of terpene, a natural volatile substance emitted by forest plants, activates the immune function and is an important raw material in health-related products, such as antibacterial and insect repellents. Moreover, phytoncide is used as a measure to evaluate the impact of the forest atmosphere on the human body. This study aims to implement a highly sensitive gas sensor system that can measure phytoncide in real-time, which is an essential element for realizing a forest healing environment. A gas generation apparatus was implemented by using an adsorption tube in consideration of filed applicability in a laboratory atmosphere to enable the measurement of α-pinene and limonene, which are among the main components of phytoncide. Throughout the experimental trials, the sensitivity of gas sensor arrays to α-pinene and limonene was confirmed. In addition, the classification results demonstrated the AVOCs and NVOCs can be well discriminated using PCA. The primary results confirmed the possibility of developing a high-sensitivity gas sensor system for phytoncide sensing in real time.

In this paper, we proposed the PARCOR coefficients in frequency domain and these parameters were to recognize the vowels, 16 PARCOR coefficients wre extracted in FFT transformation of speech signal. After training Neural using these parameters, we obtained the recognition rate 64%.
PARCOR계수를 이용한 한국어 숫자음성 인식에 관한 연구

Recently, the algorithms of the extracting characteristics from Korean voice signal have been studied to improve the recognition rate. This paper proposes an algorithm that is recognition of Korean digit voice for unknown speaker with FFT and PARCOR coefficient. The recognition algorithm is processed by following steps, Preprocess executes the high frequency filtering with LPF and A/D converting and size normalizing and multiplied window function, extraction extracts characteristic parameters using PARCOR coefficient from sequential spectrum by FFT. In this process, we obtained 15's of feature. The recognition and learning execute pattern matching with neual network. The results obtained by using the proposed algorithm show a recognition rate 78% for 200 Korean digit voices of 20 unknown speaker's from "공" to "구".
금속산화물센서의 이산화염소 가스에 대한 감지거동에 관한 연구

Chlorine dioxide is very effective gas for sterilization or disinfection (in manufacturing), and does not produce harmful by-products after use. However, if its concentration exceeds 10 %, it become explosive and cannot be compressed or stored. Therefore, it is necessary to measure its concentration. In this study, the concentration of chlorine dioxide with a high oxidizing strength was measured using a metal oxide sensor. The sensor was a commercially available TGS series from Figaro. The sensitivity of the sensor was inversely proportional to a low concentration of chlorine dioxide gas below 6 ppm and returned to the initial resistance at about 6 ppm. When the gas concentration reached multiples of 10 ppm, resistance of the sensor increased to several megaohms.
초음파 및 수열처리법에 의한 ZnO/SnO2 센서의 저농도 VOC 감응특성

The important factors in sensors are sensitivity, selectivity, and response time. Oxide semiconductors are high sensitivity, fast response and the advantage of miniaturization. Zn-doped SnO2 materials have been synthesized in order to improve the selectivity of the sensor. ZnO/ SnO2 crystals were prepared by a simple hydrothermal process and ultrasound pretreated hydrothermal process. ZnO/ SnO2 urchins were fabricated in the precursor solution with [Zn2+]:[Sn4+] ratio of 1:5 and rod structures were fabricated ratio of 1:1 and 1:3. Surface area ratio was increased by increasing the ratio of [Sn4+]. The sensitivity of sensors were highest at the [Zn2+]:[Sn4+] ratio of 1:5 in ethanol, acetaldehyde, toluene, and nitric oxide .

The exhaled breath contains gases generated from human body. When disease occurs in the body, exhaled breath may include gas components released from disease metabolism. If we can find specific elements through analysis of the exhaled gases, this approach is an effective way to diagnose the disease. The lung function has a close relationship with exhalation. Exhaled gases from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) patients can be analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) and a gas sensor system. The exhaled breath for healthy person and COPD patients had different components. Significantly more benzendicarboxylic acid was detected from COPD patients than in healthy persons. In addition, patients had a variety of decane. Phosphorous compounds with different isomers were detected from patients. The results obtained by gas sensor system were processed by PCA (Principal Component Analysis). The PCA results revealed distinct difference between the patients and healthy people.
