This experiment was conducted to determine the residual amount of dimepiperate (S-1-methyl-1-phenylethyl piperidine-1-carbothioate) and dimepiperate-OH(S-1-methyl-1-phenylethyl-4-hydroxy piperidine-1-carbothioate) in surface water and leachate using a lysimeter system. In surface water, the concentration of dimepiperate was 851-897 ppb in the treatment of 3.0 Kg prod/10a. 1,755-1,781 ppb in the treatment of 6.0 Kg prod/l0a 1 day after the treatment. The amount of dimepiperate gradually decreased and was infinitesimal from 35 days after the treatment. In leachate dimepiperate was detected from the 45 days, but its concentration was very low, below 1 ppb, compared to that in surface water. The metabolite of dimepiperate, dimepiperate-OH in surface water was detected after the application of dimepiperate. The highest level of 88-173 ppb occurred 2 day after the treatment of dimepiperate and then decreased gradually. The residual concentration was below 2.13 ppb during 28-63 days. In leachate, the concentration of dimepiperate-OH in the different treatments in the range of 0.5-11 ppb from the 21 days, although each treatment showed different detected date and concentration. The detected concentration showed a little change until 63 days.

폴리에틸렌(P.E.)필름 被覆栽培條件下의 고추, 땅콩, 참깨圃場에 있어서 endosulfan, fonofos, ethoprophos의 殘留性을 露地條件과 比較調査한 結果는 다음과 같다. 土壤中에서 endosulfan, fonofos, ethoprophos의 分解는 兩條件下에서 1次反應式에 따랐다. 土壤中 殘留期間은 有機燐系인 fonofos(半減期 : 19∼21日)와 ethoprophos(半減期 : 25∼37日)보다 有機鹽素系인 endosulfan(半減期 : α-異性體 ; 33∼39日, β-異性體 ; 56∼81日)이 길었으며, 특히 β-異性體에서의 殘留期間이 顯著히 길었다. P.E. 被覆條件과 露地條件에서 fonofos의 半減期는 거의 差異가 없었다. 그러나 α-endosulfan과 ethoprophos는 半減期가 각각 6日과 12日, β-endosulfan의 경우는 半減期가 約 52日이 P.E. 被覆條件下에서 더 길었다. P.E. 被覆이 分解에 미치는 影響은 分解速度가 느린 農藥일수록 더 컸다. P.E. 被覆의 有無에 關係없이 endosulfan은 收穫된 고추에서 檢出되지 않았고, 참깨中에서 檢出된 ethoprophos의 殘留量(透明 P.E. 被覆條件 : 0.024ppm, 露地條件 : 0.074ppm)과 땅콩中에서 檢出된 fonofos의 殘留量(透明 P.E. 被覆條件 : 0.078ppm, 露地條件 : 0.017ppm)도 매우 낮았다. This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of polyethylene film(P.E.) mulching on degradation of the soil insecticides, endosulfan(6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-hexachloro-1, 5, 5a, 6, 9, 9a-hexahydro-6, 9-methano-2, 4, 3-benzodioxathiepin-3-oxide), fonofos(O-ethyl S-phenyl ethylphosphonodithioate), and ethorprophos(O-ethyl S, S-dipropyl phosphorodithioate) in red pepper, peanut, and sesame fields. Degradation of endosulfan, fonofos and ethoprophos in the soils under P.E. mulching and non-mulching followed first-order kinetics. The half-lives of fonofos, ethoprophos, α- and β-endosulfan were 19∼21, 25∼37, 33∼39 and 56∼81 days, respectively. There were few differences in the half-lives of fonofos in either mulching or non-mulching concitions. However, half-lives of α-endosulfan, ethoprophos, and β-endosulfan were 6, 12 and 25 days longer under P.E, mulching than under non-mulching conditions, respectively. The effect of P.E. mulching on degradation was remarkable for the slower degrading insecticides. Residues of ethoprophos in the harvested sesame under P.E. mulching and non-mulching conditions were 0.024 and 0.074ppm, respectively. Residues of fonofos in the harveated peanuts under P.E. muclhing and non-mulching conditions were 0.078 and 0.017ppm, respectively. However, no endosulfan was detected in the harvested red peppers under either condition.
