Cyclodextrin hydrolase from Bacallus stearodhermophilus KFCC 21203 was purified and the properties of the purified enzyme were investigated. The enzyme was purified 15 folds with 77% recovery by ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE-cellulose chromatography, and Ultro AcA 34 gel filtration. The specific activity and the molecular weight of the enzyme were 1.30 units/㎎ protein and about 29,500, respectively. The maximum activity of the enzyme was shown at 55℃ and pH 5.5. However, stable temperature and pH were 40 ℃ and 5.0∼8.0, respectively. The Km value for γ-cyclodextrin was 3.78 × 10^(-3) M. The degradation activity of the enzyme was selectively high for γ-cyclodextrin, and very low for β-cyclodextrin, but not for α-cyclodextrin. The decomposed products of γ-cyclodextrin were mainly glucose and maltose, and a little mlatotriose. The activity of the enzyme was very high for amylose, potato starch, corn starch, amylopectin and maltooligomer, and relatively high for glycogen and dextrin. The decomposed products of them were mainly glucose and maltose.

This study explores how Aboriginal narratives and the politics of memory in Sally Morgan’s My Place and Kate Grenville’s the Secret River dissolve ‘terra nullius’ ideology and the Australian pioneer myth. If My Place may ask the question ‘Who owns the past,’ The Secret River would probably answer ‘the white man must bear the responsibility for Australia’s colonization.’ Morgan writes an autobiographical novel as a descendant of the Stolen Generation who were taken away from their families forcibly and exploited economically and sexually. The narrator Sally is desperately in search of the family’s secret, which is related with a white station owner’s incestuous rape in the frontier age and the crucial violences of colonization. Her journey to ‘what it means to be an Aboriginal’ has become a rewriting of Aboriginal memories and white Australian history. The Secret River seemingly deals with the story of how a convict-settler William Thornhill took up a plot of land and settled down as a gentry-like settler, but it also unsettles the legitimacy of the pioneer myth that has played a powerful role in Australian history. Grenville deploys her own history of the ancestor, Solomon Wiseman, and the novel is deliberately organized from the perspective of Thornhill. Therefore, the author makes readers pay attention to the settler’s guilt and the denial of apology.

This paper concretely contemplates 3,500 Chinese letters, the first-grade in Chinese letter proficiency test, that are carefully selected by three institutions, The Society for Korean language & literature(한국어문회), Korea Association for the Promotion of Hanja Education(한자교육진흥회), Korea Test Association(대한검정회) respectively. Among those three institutions’ selection of first-grade letters, the following paper has identified 3,022 of common letters and found out each Chinese letter varied greatly in terms of level(grade). Also, explanation of the Chinese letter showed a difference from one institution to another in the extent of 12% to 30%. Such variations make the contents of learning differ severely depends on which institution the learner chose, and it is considered to affect learner’s Chinese letter proficiency ability heavily. Therefore it is inappropriate to be taken as nationally certified examination. The effort of the three institutions unifying the selection of Chinese letter and matching grades and explanation on each Chinese letter for diminishing confusion and increasing the reliability of the certified examination is needed.

토양중 살충제 ethoprophos 의 분해성 및 이동성의 측정과 예측에 관한 모델 연구

土壤중에 있어서 殺蟲劑 ethoprophos의 行動特性을 調査한 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 室內條件중의 土壤중 ethoprophos分解는 一次反應式에 따랐으며 , 半減期는 10, 18, 25℃ 에서 각각 12.4, 5.5, 2.5일이었고, Arrhenius activation energy는 73.8 KJ/㏖이었다. 水分含量이 7, 14, 19%인 土壤에서 ethoprophos의 半減期는 각각 46.4, 17.6, 6.9일이었으며 Empirical방정식에서 水分依存度(B)값은 1.67이었다. Ethoprophos의 土壤중 吸着等溫線은 Freundlich式에 따랐으며 吸着分配係數(Kd)값은 0.27이었다. Mini-lysimeter를 이용한 室外條件하의 移動實驗에서 ethoprophos는 대부분이 0∼2㎝層位에 分布되었으며 6㎝層位까지 移動되었다. 室外圃場에서 ethoprophos의 分解는 氣象變化와 밀접한 관계를 보였으며, 3월과 10월의 처리에서 半減期는 각각 17일과 5일 정도이었고, 처리후 약 37일에는 90%까지 分解 消失되었다. 土壤중 農藥의 行動 豫測 computer model에 의한 ethoprophos의 移動性과 殘留性의 豫測値는 分析値와 類似하였다. The behaviour of insectcide ethoprophos (O-ethyl S,S-propyl phosphorodithioate) in soil was investigated. In a laboratory study, the degradation of ethoprophos in soil followed first-order reaction kinetics. The half-life of the insecticide in the soil incubated with 10, 18 and 25℃ was 12.4, 5.5 and 2.5 days, respectively. Arrhenius activation energy was 73.8 KJ/mole. The half-life was 46.4, 17.6 and 6.9 day in the soil with 7, 14 and 19% of soil water content, respectively. The moisture dependence B value in empirical equation was 1.67. The adsorption isotherm for ethoprophos in the soil agreed with freundlich equation. The adsorption distribution coefficient (Kd) was 0.27. In a field study prepared in autumn with undisturbed soil column in a mini-lysimeter system, ethoprophos residues were largely distributed in the top 0~2cm soil layer and moved down to the top 6cm soil layer. Persistence of ethoprophos in field soil was correlated with variation in weather pattern during the period of experiments. The half-life of ethoprophos treated at March and October was about 17 and 5 days, respectively. The ethoprophos woil was degraded up to 90% at 37day after the both treatment. In persistence and mobility of ethoprophos in field soil, the observed data were reasonably corresponded with predicted data by some computer model of pesticide behaviour.

What it really want to present is an aspect of ecological theory and programs that are able to maintain all lives in the world educationally. Because ecological dilapidation that make all lives maintain their existence harder is a real serious problem and it's the reality we are living in now. The kinds of educational function based on the theory and programs are really important work we have to, and to divert the aspect of notion with the theory, the educational function is seriously important part of diverting the aspect of notion. In our child educational system, we have to give our all efforts to develop a sense about meeting with nature directly and response to nature throughout child-education-system that shows human being and nature are living together and depending on each other. Ecological aspect of education is like a child playing outside of kindergarten and doing what he wants freely and just getting used to knowing relationships between human and nature such as circulation, diversity naturally. For these reasons, these kinds of system and program should be developed continuously, and more specific and various programs should be developed for children. In this case of program that's being a way of right and ecological for children, it's usually applied, testified by tutors who takes care of children in a kindergarden or school and who have a ability to see the future world ecologically, so tutors have to develop their postures to the aspect of ecological education themselves like they are living in nature together and each one is an important part of this world
