The installed capacity of wind turbines in Korea are growing and enlarging by the central government's supporting program. But the majority area having the abundant wind energy resources is composed of mountainous and complex district, thus the turbulence intensity of there is so high and belongs to the turbulence characteristic A category of IEC design requirement. This paper presents the effect of the turbulence intensity on the power performance of a wind turbine system. Particularly, the effect of the power curve of the wind turbine system due to the turbulence intensity has analyzed. As a result, the power curve has a high turbulence characteristic shows the lower value than normal one in high wind speed regime and the AEP will be reduced at the relatively high turbulence area.
Study on the Power Performance on WindPRO Prediction in the Southeast Region of Jeju Island

In order to research the way to evaluate wind resource without actual Met Mast data, this paper has been carried out on the southeastern region of Jeju island, Korea. Although wind turbine has been an economical alternative energy resource, misjudging the prediction of lifetime or payback period occurs because of the inaccurate assessment of wind resource and the location of wind turbine. Using WindPRO(Ver. 2.7), a software for wind farm design developed by EMD from Denmark, wind resources for the southeastern region of Jeju island was analyzed, and the performance of WindPRO prediction was evaluated in detail. Met Mast data in Su-san 5.5Km far from Samdal wind farm, AWS in Sung-san 4.5km far from Samdal wind farm, and Korea Wind Map data had been collected for this work.

This study has analysed the ultimate loads acting on a wind turbine which is operating in a high turbulent flow condition because the ultimate loads are critical factors on the safe design of wind turbine. Since wind flow on the most parts of Korean mountainous are strongly influenced by complex configurations of the topography, turbulence intensity on somewhere is so stronger than an international design standard. For this reason, the characteristics of turbulent wind data collected from actual sites were analyzed and used for the ultimate load evaluation of the wind turbine. With the 270 design load cases on the international standards, the differences of ultimate loads on the wind turbine operating in the standard or high turbulent wind condition are calculated and compared for the an enhanced knowledge of the safe design basis. As are result, it is revealed the specific ultimate loads are strongly affected by the high turbulent wind conditions, thus the characteristics of turbulent flow must be considered during the design of wind turbine.

In this study, it is to verify the applicability for a simplified model(IEC61400-2, Design Require-ments for Small Wind Turbines, 2006-03) is the international standard is used to the structural design. In the design process of a wind turbine, the safety of a designed wind turbine is one of the most important factors. The simplified model can be used to determine the design load for small wind turbines. So, this paper has been re-evaluated a small wind turbine design loads that produced already. As a result, the material characteristic value(Rchar) of Blade, Rotor shaft and the tower are 90E6[N/㎡], 441E6[N/㎡] and 94E6[N/㎡]. Therefore, the value of the applied safety factor to each part of the survival probability of 95% are satisfied.
한국 개신교 교회의 갱신을 위한 ``기독교 세계관`` 의 적용 방안에 대한 연구

Christian worldview`` is said to be a unique viewpoint through which a Christian looks into the world. Here I study of ``Christian worldview`` that can be applied for the reformation of Korean protestant churches following the four steps of culture, which are religion (or conviction), worldview, values, and life (or culture), suggested by Paul Hiebbert. ``Christian worldview`` is based upon the experience in God who is alive and the conviction of salvation. But Korean protestant churches have some problems in the fact that they have forgotten the point of God oriented ``Christian worldview``. As ``Christian worldview`` is decayed into human oriented ``Christian worldview``, Heaven oriented ``Christian values`` are disappeared, by which Christian tries humbly to continue his way of cross with the confession of his decomposition and decapability and in the prayers for the grace of salvation. And Christian cultures`` are also decayed in the secular mood depending upon building and organization and programs and are going to fall into the secularism and bureaucratism and church-babelism at last. These decompositions of Korean protestant churches have been preceded heavily without any hope to be cured, and they are going to be fallen into the religious syncretism and pluralism ending with the corruption, The human history is understood as a part of the history of God in the God oriented ``Christian woridview``, That is, God and all of His nation are the only goal but not the human and all the human activities. En the end of this world God``s nation shall be restorated and more over it will be fulfilled by the judgement and salvation. God oriented ``Christian worldview`` is rooted on the understanding of the judgement and the salvation of God. Christian who grows to have a strong Christianity`` through the personal experiences in God and becomes to have God oriented ``Christian worldview`` will be armed strictly by the Heaven oriented ``Christian values`` ``Christian culture`` which is emerged through these Heaven oriented ``Christian values`` shall share the only meta theology throughout the world.

Wind resource data of short-term period has to be corrected a long-term period by using MCP method that Is a statistical method to predict the long-term wind resource at target site data with a reference site data. Because the field measurement for wind assessment is limited to a short period by various constraints. In this study, 2 different MCP methods such as Linear regression and Matrix method were chosen to compare the predictive accuracy between the methods. Finally long-term wind speed, wind power density and capacity factor at the target site for 20 years were estimated for the variability of wind and wind energy. As a result, for 20 years annual average wind speed, Yellow sea off shore wind farm was estimated to have 4.29% for coefficient of variation, CV, and-9.57%〜9.53% for range of variation, RV. It was predicted that the annual wind speed at Yellow sea offshore wind farm varied within±10%.

The installed capacity of wind turbines in KOREA are growing and enlarging by the central government's support program. Thus, the importance of power performance verification and its uncertainty analysis are recognizing rapidly. This paper described the power testing results of a 3MW wind turbine and analysed an uncertainty level of measurements. The measured power curves are very closely coincide with the calculated one and the annual power production under the given Rayleigh wind speed distribution are estimated with the 3.6~12.7% of uncertainty but, in the dominant wind speed region as 7~8m/s, the uncertainty are stably decreased to 6.3~5.3%
