Recently the development of an Electro-Hydrostatic Actuator(EHA) is progressed as a part of a research for energy saving. EHA is usually composed of a direct diven pump from an electric motor and is available to control cylinder displacement or velocity with high efficiency. In addition, it has the merritt of compactness, minimum leakage and the availability of the decentralized control. In this study, EHA system is designed to decrease the path following error, manufactured for test. The method of linearization provided in AMESim software was used to derive the model of EHA system. The derived model through this modeling process is applied to design the PI-D controller to overcome the disturbance effectively. The effectiveness of this controller is verified by test.

These days the injection molding work and press work are in the trend of needing the precision control of position and pressure in a high speed. On the other hand the digital computer technology is developed rapidly. And recently the digital servo controller using micro controller become to be used broadly, because of the merit of digital communication. In this study the sequential control of hydraulic system switching from position to pressure and to position is tried using the HACD(Hydraulic Axis Controller Digital for electrohydraulic drives) which is manufactured in BoschRexroth. Though this the possibility of the precision sequential control using the digital servo controller HACD is examined.

In this study, an EHA system was designed to decrease the path tracking error and manufactured for test. The linearization method provided in AMESim software was used to derive the model of EHA system. The derived model was applied to design the PI-D controller to effectively overcome the disturbance. The effectiveness of this controller was verified by further testing.

Many researchers have studied for improving the control performance of electric hydrostatic actuator(EHA), but studies are limited to improve the characteristics of transient response such as a step response. In this study, ISF-FF-PI-D controller is proposed for the position control of EHA in the high frequency range. First, FF-PI-D control system is designed for compensation of disturbance input and improvement of target tracking performance. In addition, input shaping filter(ISF) is applied to prevent saturation of electric motor using FF-PI-D control system in the high frequency field. As the result, it is confirmed experimentally that target tracking performance of ISF-FF-PI-D control system is better than FF-PI-D control system in the high frequency range.

This paper studies on the dynamic characteristics of electric hydrostatic actuator(EHA). In order to improve the dynamic characteristics of EHA, modified PI-D controller, feed-forward controller and input shaping filter were applied. A reference input following controller (including PI-D and feed-forward controller) which enables robust control of the EHA under disturbances is devised using pole placement method and zero placement method. Then, an input shaping filter was incorporated to the devised control system to improve reference following characteristic in high frequency range. The effectiveness of the suggested control design is verified through experiments.

Virtual Training is an educational exercise in which the environment or the situation is virtually implemented for specific training and proceed like a real situation. In recent years, the virtual reality technology has developed rapidly, and the demand for experiencing situation that are not directly experienced in the real world is increasing more and more in virtual reality. The virtual training contents have been developed and utilized for the purpose of technical training. In this study, we explored the development method for effective utilization of electrohydraulic servo control process, which is the virtual reality contents developed in 2017 in combination with e-learning contents. In addition, in order to establish a teaching and learning strategy, we actually develop and operate a case studies using virtual training contents. Surveys and case studies are conducted to investigate the effects of teaching and learning strategies applied in the classroom on students and their educational usefulness.

The term "fuse" is used here in analogy with electrical fuses which perform a similar function. The electrical fuse senses the overload and disconnects the electrical circuit effectively shutting it off. In this way, further equipment damage is eliminated and a potential safety hazard is avoided. The hydraulic fuse provides similar protection to a hydraulic circuit. A hydraulic fuse is used to detect a leakage condition(such as a broken line or a disconnected hose) and shut off the circuit to reduce the loss of hydraulic pressure. It is a safety feature, designed to allow systems to continue operating, or at least to not fail catastrophically, in the event of a system breach. It does this by stopping the flow of hydraulic fluid through itself if the flow exceeds a predetermined passed volume. The hydraulic fuse may be self-resetting or have a manual reset. In this paper, we studied temperature parameters influencing upon volumetric capacity of the hydraulic fuse optimized performance.

The most important consideration in mobile system is efficiency. As mobile machines move independently from any power source, the power supply is limited. For this reason, components of a mobile system should be designed small and light with simple design. Hydraulic system with load uses various valves to control the load. In this case, the double non-return valve, pressure relief valve, and counterbalance valve were used to observe the characteristics of movement of the load in a mobile hydraulic device. We will compare the characteristics using different valves using AMESim program and analyze why we use counterbalance valve which widely used for mobile hydraulic.
