In this thesis I have analyzed the changes of calligraphy education in the elementary school curriculum and searched about the ways to teach the points well which are emphasized on in the present 7th curriculum. The calligraphy education of this present curriculum places stress on the improvement of appreciation ability and learning by experience. To accomplish these goals, I suggest several ways as follows : Firstly, we should develop the various activities which make students feel interest in calligraphy education. Secondly, we should know the level of the students first and need to find the appropriate way and contents for them. Thirdly, we should improve the appreciation ability through lots of appreciation opportunities and learning by experience. Forthly, we should give the students the good environments for calligraphy education, for example, the classroom specially designed for calligraphy education and quality goods. Fifthly, we should use the calligraphy terminologies to improve the appreciation ability. In conclusion, we should improve the teaching method and contents of calligraphy education in order to adapt this ever-changing society.
