Efficient vibration reduction is possible if the vibration source that has the greatest influence on the receiver can be identified and the transfer path with the highest contribution can be identified. After analyzing the contribution of the effective excitation source to the output by using the vector synthesis method, We want to consider effective reduction measuring method by predicting the amount of reduction in output vibration for the stiffness and shape change of the effective excitation source using dynamic analysis.

Currently, with the rapid transition from internal combustion engine vehicle to pure electric vehicle, Automobile/reducer manufacturers face new challenges to improve low torque/low rpm noise (rumble and sideband) That have been masked by internal combustion engine. This paper reproduced the rumble/sideband noise that could not be analytically identified through the development of EV reducer (separated/integrated) analysis model/method and identifies the noise generation mechanism. In addition, the mode sensitivity (DOE – design of experiments) for the system was analyzed through a case study by noise significant factor and influence by component was quantified. Through the development of these noise analysis model/method and influence analysis processed, It will greatly improve the commerciality of EV vehicle by dramatically saving time and cost when developing other models.
