This paper represents the criteria of earthing system for substation design in Korea. The construction of new substations and expansion of existing facilities are commonplace projects in KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation). The KEPCO has had the only design criteria, which need to be adequate criteria considering the new technology and environment in Korea.
뇌의 수직단면에 대한 MR 영상에서 영역 분할에 대한 연구

본 논문은 뇌의 수직단면에 대하여 촬영된 자기공명영상에서 뇌 영역을 분리한 후 백질과 회백질 및 뇌척수액을 분리하고 각각의 체적을 산출하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구는 먼저 뇌의 자기공명영상에서 영상의 배경 및 뇌 내부를 둘러싸고 있는 외피 값의 지방층으로부터 뇌 영역 전체를 분리 하였으며, 부분체적의 문제(partial volume artifact)에 의해 명암 값을 결정한 후 백질과 회백질 및 뇌척수액의 영역을 분리하였다. 본 연구는 뇌의 위축을 보이지 않는 정상인의 자기공명영상을 대상으로 하였으며, 향후 이러한 연구 결과는 알쯔하이머 병이나 뇌성마미등과 같은 퇴행성 뇌 질환 환자의 뇌 위축정도를 객관적으로 진단하는 방법으로 사용될 수 있도록 하는데 있다.

This paper proposed automated methods for the detection of mass. We analysed characteristic of mass by using the features on mammograms. The homogeneity was used to distinguish mass, abnormal homogeneous tissue, from the Coopers ligament and multiful threshold method was used to deal with the high density candidates. By using the 8-connectivity, the first step candidates were selected. We generated the dualistic images of each candidates in which we regards the gray value as topographic height information. From these candidates, the second candidates were selected by comparing the the circularity and the distribution rates. The final detection was done with the method in which we generated the template of each candidates and compared each other. From these methods, we grade the order from the candidates. We applied the algorithm to the 226 mammograms and compared to the radiologist outlines of the leisions. The detection resulted that the sensitivity of the proposed methods was 93.8%, 0.743 FP per and segmented mass in first grade in the 203 cases.
뇌의 MR 영상에서 부분체적(Partial Volume)을 고려한 백질의 추출을 위한 연구

In the MR image of a brain, white adn gray matters are represented with a cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) within the boundaries of a skull. In this paper, we present a new method of extracting white matter and calulation its volume from the MRI image for brain. But the brain consists of white matter, gray matter and CSF, which are overlapped in a complex way over one another. As a result, each pixel are represented by blurred gray values after scanning the slice of a finite thickness by MR scanner, since white and gray matter are presented with CSF in the slice[3]. And then the calculation for partial volume of white matter or gray matter ina finite thickness remains a difficult problem. And then, we have developed the determining method of threshold that can extract white mater from MR image for brain through the analysis of gray values represented by ratio of each component existing in a finite thickness. And we proposed the calculation method of volume for white matter by using number of extracted pixels in each slice
