리눅스 클러스터 서버 상에서 RTSP기반의 실시간 및 VOD 스트리밍 시스템 개발

최근 몇 년 동안 컴퓨터 사용자들의 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 요구가 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 멀티미디어 데이터를 서비스하기 위해서는 대용량의 저장장치가 필요하며 연속재생이 가능하여야 한다. 이와 관련하여 데이터 압축기술과 스트리밍 기술과 고성능 PC를 고속의 네트웍으로 연결하는 클러스터 기술에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 클러스터 시스템은 비교적 저렴한 가격의 고성능 시스템으로 고가의 단일서버에 비해 확장성과 가격대 성능면에서 유리하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 리눅스 클러스터 기반의 오디오/비디오 실시간 및 VOD 스트리밍 서버와 일반적인 사용자에게 친숙한 윈도우 환경의 플레이어를 구현하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 구현한 시스템에서는 기존에 윈도우 NT계열에서만 스트리밍이 가능했던 ASF포맷의 멀티미디어 데이터를 리눅스 서버에서도 스트리밍 서비스가 가능하도록 하였다.

Recently, in the course of business processes a variety of abuse cases of fax documents is common in general corporate, government, and financial institutions. To solve this problem, it is necessary for a technique to prevent falsification of fax documents. In this paper, we propose a new fax sender verification technique based on pattern analysis to prevent falsification of fax documents only using the received fax document. In the proposed technique, the fax sender is verified by analyzing the communication signal patterns between the fax sender and receiver and image pattern in the received fax document. In this paper, we conduct the experiments that apply our technique to real-world fax systems, and then tamper-proof effects were confirmed from the experimental results.
그룹웨어 시스템을 위한 확장성 있는 가상화 스토리지 기반 웹하드 API의 설계 및 구현

Recently webhard services in various applications have been notably increased. In order to adopt some webhard functions into the existing application platform, however, a lot of manpower and cost is necessary. In this paper, we propose webhard API based on cloud storage for building and extending the webhard functions. The proposed system consists of three layers: application, web-hard server, and storage server in which each layer provides its API independently. It is enable the developer to easily extend the webhard functions to the application by using only HTTP request, which provides no limitation of the programming language. Because our webhard API is running on the virtualized cloud storage, it is possible to easily extend the storages and to reduce the maintenance cost. In this paper, we implement all the webhard API and then show the result of adopting the API to a prototype groupware system.

In this paper, we present stereoscopic conversion based on movie shot information. To overcome the low stereoscopic quality of automatic stereo conversion technologies, the usage of the shot type is expected to provide more satisfactory stereoscopic perception. In general, movie clips are produced with a variety of shot techniques such as long shot, closeup shot, medium shot, etc. Each shot has its own characteristics that can be utilized during the conversion process. Furthermore, description sceme for shot and camera information is presented in XML. XML shot editor generates XML shot data. and conversion module parses such data and converts 2D image into stereoscopic image.

As the surveillance CCTVs are increasing every year, big data image processing for the CCTV image data has become a hot issue. In this paper, we propose a Hadoop-based big data image processing technique to recognize a vehicle number from a large amount of automatic number plate images taken from CCTVs. We also implement the vehicle route tracking system that displays the moving path of the searched vehicle on Google Maps with the related information together. In order to evaluate the performance we compare and analysis the vehicle number recognition time for a lot of CCTV image data in Hadoop and the single PC environment.
P2P VOD 서비스를 위한 시간 기반 DHT 피어 탐색 기법

In the typical P2P VOD system, it is very important to develop the fast and efficient peer searching scheme since the peers frequently join and leave to/from P2P system. This paper proposes a new peer searching scheme for P2P VOD system based on DHT network environment. The proposed scheme constructs DHT network by managing the peers having close playback starting times and close network locations into a peer all together. The peer information is mapped onto DHT nodes by hashing the key values each of which consists of the starting time and network location of the peer. From the simulation results, the number of messages required to search the partner peers are decreased, and the number of buffer maps exchanging among the peers are also decreased. The proposed scheme can reduce the average network distances among the partner peers. As a result, the proposed scheme makes routing more efficient and it saves the network resources by decreasing communication traffic overhead.
