The purpose of this paper is to investigate counting-based and collection-based computation of the elementary mathematics textbook in Korea and United States of America. As a results, we will provide some suggestive points through how to use and activity of number line, decomposing number, counting, grouping and so on by analyzing counting and collection-based computation in the elementary mathematics textbook of Korea and United States of America.

This study focuses on the teaching of fraction related to curriculum, introducing time of fraction, the meaning of fractions in textbook, material of teaching of fraction concept, teaching model of introducing time of fraction concept, special cases of teaching fraction and common points of representation of fraction among Korea, New Zealand and Singapore. For this study, Korea's mathematics textbooks(3-1, 3-2, 4-1, 5-1, 6-1) and New National Curriculum Mathematics(3, 4, 5. 6. 7)of New Zealand and New Syllabus Primary Mathematics(2B, 3B, 4A, 4B, 5A, 6A)of Singapore were selected for comparison and analysis. As a results we will suggest a reference to the development of mathematical curriculum, teaching fraction and improving the quality of the textbook through a method of comparative analysis of Korea, New Zealand and Singapore.
한국과 미국의 1학년 초등수학 교사용 지도서에 관한 고찰

There are some researches for international comparing of textbook and curriculum, so far. But These researches focused on comparing special region of textbook or curriculum. On the contrary, there are hardly papers how teacher's guide is consists and different with other country. In this paper, we have analyzed teacher's guide of Korea and Everyday Mathematics which is one of the teacher's guide in the many counties in the united states of America. Especially, teaching method, differentiated contents of curriculum, characteristics of consists of curriculum and so on. On the basis of this analysis, we search the improvement points of teaching of primary mathematics and also we make all the primary school teachers realize the diversity of teaching method through foreign cases and consequently they will make use of these results as a reference material such as reconstruction of textbook.
Ti-Al 금속간화합물의 미세조직 및 기계적 성질에 미치는 제3원소의 영향

N/A The mechanical properties of Ti-Al intermetallic compounds which contain Mn, Zr, or Cr as the third element have been evaluated by means of hardness and compression tests. Microstructures have also been examined using an optical microscope. The cast structures of Ti-Al alloys are coarsened and the lamellar volume fraction is increased by the additions of Mn or V, but the cast structures are refined by the addition of Zr. Hardness tests of room temperature and compression tests at 600℃ showed that the mechanical properties of Ti-Al alloys were mainly dependent on the volume fraction of the α₂phase, grain size and solid solution hardening. However according to the compression test at 1000℃, the yield strength of Ti-Al alloys decreased with an increase in Mn or Cr content, but increased with an increase in the Zr content.
