필라테스가 초등학생의 척추측만도 및 체력에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Pilates on scoliosis and physical fitness in elementary school students(N=20). We measured students` scoliosis before recruiting them whether they had scoliosis. Subjects who were diagnosed as scoliosis were randomly divided into two groups. One was an exercise group(N=10) and the other was a control group(N=10). Students in the exercise group performed pilates that was composed of 40~50%HRR, 1 hour a day for 3 days a week for 12 weeks. Scoliosis was measured by MAS-1(Muscle graphic Analyzing System-1) and grip strength, back strength, trunk flexion, trunk extension backward, sit-up, standing broad jump, close eyes foot balance were measured to evaluate physical fitness before and after exercise. Results of this study were as followed. Scoliosis(the cervical vertebral and the shoulders) were significantly(p<.01, p<.05) decreased in exercise group compared with control group after training. Back strength, trunk flexion, trunk extension backward, sit-up were significantly(p<.01, p<.01, p<.05, p<.001) increased in exercise group compared with control group after training. Therefore, Pilates resulted in positive effect on scoliosis(the cervical vertebral and the shoulders) and physical fitness(back strength, trunk flexion, trunk extension backward, sit-up) in elementary school students with scoliosis. In conclusion, we suggested that the elevation of muscle strength, flexibility and muscle endurance caused the improvement of scoliosis with the in elevation of spine muscle strength.
웨이트트레이닝이 여자 대학생의 신체구성 및 척추측만도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of weight training on scoliosis in female university students. Subjects were sixteen female students who have scoliosis after Morie somatotype measurement, then the athletic and control group were divided to eight. The training program was composed of 70%of 1RM(10-12repitition, 3sets), 3 frequencies/wk for 8weeks, the exercise duration had 10 minutes warming-up, 40minutes main exercise, 10 minutes cool-down. The degree of scoliosis was measured by MAS-1(Muscle Graphic Analyzing System-1) After trining, the degree of scoliosis in thoracic and lumbar horizontalness significantly decreased, the volume of muscle and physical fitness significantly increased in athletic group compare to control group. In conclusion, weight training program improve the muscular strength and endurance in vertebral column, then make correction in scoliosis.
휠체어 농구선수들의 호흡순환기능과 혈관탄성에 관한 연구

This study was purpose to investigate effect of after maximal exercise on cardiorepiratory function and vascular compliance with wheelchair basketball athletes and normal athletes and sedentary. The subjects consisted of spinal cord injured(N=10), basketball athletes(N=10), controls(N=10) that used arm ergometer 30W(watt) loading after warm-up from 0W to all out per 15W. The groups analyzed systolic and diastolic blood pressure, measured on K4b2 through Monark cycle ergometer, vascular compliance through pulse wave velocity. The results were as follows : 1. Cardiorespiratory increased significantly in basketball athletes than spinal cord injured and controls. 2. Vascular compliance was increased in basketball athletes but not significantly. The results suggest that wheelchair athletes was enhanced on cardiorespiratory through basketball. Thus, wheelchair basketball was thought on effected exercise that increased blood volume, pressure, and affirmative effect in sympathetic system.
