A technique to suppress the low frequency ripple voltage of the DC output in three phase buck diode rectifiers is presented in this paper. The proposed pulse frequency modulation methods and duty ratio modulation methods are employed to regulate the output voltage of the buck diode rectifiers and guarantee zero-current -switching(ZCS) of the switch over the wide load range<br/> The proposed control methods used in this paper provide generally good performance such as low THD of the input line current and unity power factor. In addition, control methods can be effectively used to suppress the low frequency ripple voltage appeared in the dc output voltage. The harmonic injection technique illustrates its validity and effectiveness through the simulations.

Photovoltaic conditioning systems normally use a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique to deliver the highest possible power to the load continuously when variations occur in the insolation and temperature. A unique method of tracking the maximum power points (MPPs) and forcing the boost converter system to operate close to these points is presented through deriving small-signal model and transfer function of boost converter considering input capacitor. This paper aims at modeling boost converter including fairly large equivalent series resistance(ESR) of input reservoir capacitor by state-space-averaging method and PWM switch model. In the future, properly designed controller for compensation will be constructed in 3kw real system for maximum photovoltaic power tracking control.

This paper aims at developing remote contro system to control and monitor distributed various devices through internet or information communica-tion network SNMP (Simple Network Manage-ment Protocol) and rectifier operated in a row are adopted for network management protocol and applied device, respectively, For controlling and monitoring distributed devices in real-time java-environment software is constructed. Also general-use interface controller between network devIce and applied device is proposed. Finally, seria communication such as RS-232 and RS-485 is used between controller and applied device.

In this paper, a prototype of implementable Sun tracking algorithm for mobile systems powered by alternative energy is proposed. The proposed system uses 2-axis tilt sensor and 3-axis magnetic sensor to measure orientation and posture of the system according to the horizon coordinates system, which are used to compensate tilt effects. Then through astronomical calculation using the present time and position informations obtained from GPS sensors, the calculated azimuth and altitude of the Sun in that location. The position of the Sun is converted to that of the mobile Sun tracking system coordinates and used to control A-axis and C-axis of the system.
