Minimum Bounding Circle을 사용한 객체 변환 기법의 공간 위상 연산 처리

지리 정보 시스템이 처리해야 하는 많은 질의중 대표적인 것은 2차원 평면상에 존재하는 객체를 대상으로 하는 공간 질의이다. 공간 질의는 기존의 인덱싱 기법으로는 효율적인 처리가 불가능하므로 공간 객체를 처리하기 위한 많은 공간 인덱싱 구조가 제안되었다. 그러나 제안된 인덱싱 구조들을 바탕으로한 공간 위상 연산 처리의 연구는 미흡하다. 공간 인덱싱에서 가장 많이 사용하는 최소 객체 포함자는 MBR(Minimum Bounding Rectangle)이다. 그러나 MBR을 사용할 경우 직선의 교차 연산이나, 최근접 객체의 검색시 비효율적인 측면이 있으므로 MBC(Minimum Bounding Circle)의 사용을 제안한다. MBC를 사용하여 교차, 포함, 피포함, 최근접 등의 공간 위상 연산을 처리하는 과정을 보이며, 다차원 동적 화일인 Grid File을 사용할 때 접근해야 하는 디스크 블록의 결정 방법을 소개한다.

This thesis is proposed the adaptive overlap function for absorbing the time variation of speech signal. In this paper, the time variation which is known to the problem on speech recognition is absorbed by diving the speech signal into the equal number of frames regardless of lenght of signal and the frames of the signal are divided by the adaptive overlap function. Equal number of the features of the speech signal extracted from the frame data by using FRLS. As the results that the proposed algorithm applied to the numeral speech, it was found that the adaptive overlap function was absorbed the time variation by dividing the speech signal into the constant frame number, equal number of the features of the speech signal were extracted from each frame.
Effective Transmission Method for low power RF systems

In wireless communication system using 2.4GHz radio link, data rate varies with time due to interferences, which causes the performance degradation. Therefore, effective transmission methods are required to obtain better performance according to varying data rate. This paper proposes a novel method that increases the data rate, as well as the influence of different loop-filter bandwidths on the performance of the PLL. Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective because it can achieve higher throughput in various data rate.
Proposal of Image Noise Improvement Algorithm for Implementing Hand Gestures

The image noise improvement algorithm proposed in this paper extracts the boundary line by using thewindow of the binarized image to detect the gesture motion. Boundary line blurring is prevented by improvingGaussian noise generated during video output. To improve gesture recognition in low-light environments, animage noise enhancement algorithm has been designed to provide an output image close to the base image. Analyzing the experimental results, we found almost 10% improvement in the results compared to the resultsof the existing Median filter.
A Low Power smartRF Transceiver Hardware Design For 2.4 GHz Applications

There are many researches to reduce power consumption of battery-operated Transceiver for 2.4 GHz smartRF applications. However, components such as processor, memory and LCD based power managements reach the limit of reducing power consumption. To overcome the limit, this research proposes novel low-power Transceiver and transceiver Hardware Design. Experimental results in the real smartRF Transceiver show that the proposed methods can reduce power consumption additionally than component based power managements.

음성인식을 위한 복합형잡음제거필터와 최적특징추출에 관한 연구

In this paper, a novel method of noise reduction of speech based on a complex adaptive noise canceler and method of optimal feature extraction are proposed. this complex adaptive noise canceler needs simply the noise detection, and LMS algorithm used to calculate the adaptive filter coefficient. The method of optimal feature extraction requires the variance of noise. The experimental results have shown that the proposed method effectively reduced noise in noisy speech. Optimal feature extraction has shown similar characteristics in noise-free speech. Keywords : adaptive noise canceler, feature extraction, LMS algorithm
