In this study, experimental and numerical investigation for diesel spray evaporation and combustion was carried out in a constant volume combustion chamber(CVCC) on various ambient gas pressure and temperature. In the experiment, the spray was injected into CVCC by common rail system and then images of the spray were acquired by high speed camera and the calculation study was implemented under same condition with experiment by using AVL-Fire. There was a good agreement between experimental and computational results such as spray penetration, ignition delay.

Octavio Paz afirma que el sistema de la idea occidental que sustenta la actitud conquistadora hacia la naturaleza ha llegado al limite: el deterioro del medio ambiente. Esto muestra que la idea occidental, basada en la razon, el progreso y la explotacion, pierde su fundamento de ser para el futuro. Se necesita la otra solucion. Octavio Paz la busca y la encuentra en la idea oriental, particularmente en el taoismo. Segun el, la combinacion entre Yin y Yang, la integracion, la comprension de los dos elementos contrapuestos, el vacio, el secreto paradojico de la pasividad y la union entre el hombre y la naturaleza que presenta el taoismo nos ensenan el camino recto por donde nos dirigimos hacia el futuro. Octavio Paz insiste que la realidad autentica no esta en el mundo superficial que experimentamos dia y dia, sino en el mundo mas alla de este. Este mundo no se puede expresar en la lengua normal. Se requiere la otra dimension. Chuang-Tzu la llama “la dimension integradora”. Y Octavio Paz la nombra “el salto mortal”. Por medio del “salto mortal”, “esto o aquello” de la idea discriminadora del occidente se convierte en “esto y aquello” o “esto es aquello”. Asi que la separacion y la diferencia se desaparecen. Se quedan la integracion y la comprension. Octavio Paz llama este espacio “la otredad”. el encuentra la otra solucion que pueda sustituir la idea occidental en la integracion y la comprension de la idea taoista.

Most of a driving cycle is used to measure fuel consumption (FC) and emissions for a specified vehicle. A driving cycle was reflected geography and traffic characteristics for each country, also, driving characteristic is affected these parameters such as vehicle dynamics, FC and emissions. Therefore, this study is an attempt to develop a driving cycle for military operational area. The methodology is that the driving cycle is constructed considering important parameters to be affected FC. Therefore, this approach is expected to be a better representation of heterogeneous traffic behavior. The driving cycle is constructed using the proposed methodology for smallest RMSE and information value.

The object of this research is to analyze characteristics of diesel combustion on various O₂ fraction on numerical investigation with AVL-FIRE. It is the most important to understand characteristics of spray and combustion on various ambient gas composition in CVCC(constant volume combustion chamber) in the study of low temperature combustion of diesel engine. Gas compositions in CVCC for simulation each contain [O₂_21%], [O₂_16%, CO₂_5%], [O₂_11%, CO₂_10%] and fixed fraction [N₂_79%]. Numerical results are as follows : ignition delay time was decreased and flame temperature was increased when O₂ fraction was increased. Also grade on the curve of heat release rate was decreased when O₂fraction was decreased. The mass production of NO is reduced and that of Soot is increased definitely in condition of lower O₂ fraction.
