전압파형을 이용한 트래킹 진전과정 분석방법에 관한 연구

고전기 전자 측정에서 가장 쉽고 정확하게 측정할 수 있는 것이 전압이다. 그래서 우리는 단지 전압만으로 트래킹의 진전과정을 알 수 있는 방법을 연구하였고, 이를 분할-FFT(Partition-FFT)라고 명명하였다. 트래킹은 IEC 60112에서 제안하는 방법과 시험 장비로 모의하였다. 이 때 얻은 전압파형을 분할-FFT로 분석하였고, 그 결과 정상상태에서 트래킹이 일어나기까지의 과정을 6단계로 명확히 구분할 수 있었다. 트래킹 현상은 전기재해의 주요 원인 중 하나이다. 분할-FFT는 오실로스코프와 컴퓨터 소프트웨어에만 의존한다. 따라서 기존의 전기설비에 분할-FFT를 적용한다면 적은 비용과 쉬운 측정으로 트래킹으로 인한 전기재해를 방지할 수 있다. 무엇보다도 분할-FFT는 트래킹 진전과정을 시각적으로 표현해 주기 때문에 일반인들도 쉽게 전기재해 발생 가능성을 판별해 낼 수 있을 것이다. Voltage is generally and exactly measured in the electric and electronic field. So, we studied method for detecting electric equipment faulty state using only electric voltage. It is called the Partition-FFT. Tracking is simulated by method and tester proceed on IEC 60112. We analyze voltage waveforms by tracking tester with Partition-FFT. As the result tracking process is clearly distinguished by 6 steps. Tracking is one of the major reason of electric accidents. The Partition-FFT is using a digital oscilloscope and a computer software. If Partition-FFT analysis is applied to the electricity facilities, We can prevent from happenning electric accidents cause of tacking breakdown with low prices and easy measurment. Most of all, Partition-FFT is system that make a visual tacking process. So, everyone is able to detect to possibility of electric accidents.

There are over 30[%] of electric fires in Korea happened at wire or wiring devices. For its prevention many safety devices are set up electric equipments. These safety devices are not working in a rated current's condition of electric equipment. But when wire is partially disconnected, electric fire is able to be happened even though current is smaller than a rated current value. This paper studied thermal characteristics and fire ability when wire in plug is partially disconnected. The experiment is progressed a method that inner wire of plug is partially disconnected and after that current that is less than a rated current is flowed. As the result, heating occurred in near of partially disconnected wire makes that outer sheath is melted, plug cover is carbonized, and even sometimes wire is fused. And results of analysis of thermal image of partially disconnected wire happened in plug, it shows a difference to heating distribution and temperature appeared surface of plug depend on a progress of a partially disconnected wire.

본 논문은 전해액에 의해 양전극 사이에 형성되는 브리지가 트래킹에 미치는 영향을 기술하고 있다. IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) 60589의 방법으로 만들어진 1, 3, 5[wt%] NaCl 용액을 이용하여 KS C IEC 60112의 전극에서 트래킹 실험을 하였다. 트래킹 진전과정 중에서 브리지가 형성되었을 때의 전압, 전류, 저항 및 열화상을 측정하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 전해액의 전도율이 커짐에 따라 브리지에서 발생되는 줄열도 커졌다. 하지만 전해액의 기화열로 인해 전해액의 끓는점을 넘지는 못했다. 다만, 전해액의 전도율이 커짐에 따라 건조대 형성에 소요되는 시간이 짧아졌다. 따라서 다음 적하까지 보다 긴 시간동안 건조대를 유지함으로써, 방전 기회가 증가하기 때문에 트래킹 진전이 빨라짐을 알 수 있었다. This paper describes the influence of the bridge formed between electrodes by electrolyte for tracking process. Electrolytes is made by IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) 60589, NaCl added to deionized water as each 1, 3, 5[wt%]. The used test equipment is made according to KS(Korean Industrial Standard) C IEC 60112. It is investigated voltage, current, value of resistance and thermal image when bridge formed between electrodes on tracking process As a result, as conductivity of electrolyte gets bigger as Joule’s heat on bridge also gets bigger. But It is not over electrolyte’s boiling point clue to evaporation heat of electrolyte. However as conductivity of electrolyte gets bigger as the necessary time of dry band gets shorter. So dry band is existed more long time between ahead of droplet to next droplet and discharge chance at dry band gets much. Therefore tracking process gets faster.

The fire testing performed for smoke detector model approval in Korea tests only one kind of fire smoke. A photoelectric spot-type smoke detector using Mie scattering is affected by the wavelength of light beam and the particle diameter. According to UL (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) 268 standard, this paper analyze the characteristic of the response for a photoelectric spot-type smoke detector on sale in Korea using various fire smokes. Probability that the response time is included in non-defective range is 100% in paper fire, 90% in wood fire and 75% in flammable liquid fire, 90% in wood fire and 75% in flammable liquid fire. According to the estimation for population mean of the response time choosing a confidence level of 99%, a maximum of 19% for wood fire and that of 38% for flammable liquid fire are defective. As the result of analysis of smoke particle, this paper is found that these results are caused by the smoke particles are wide variations in size or have very black.

2006년 우리나라에서 발생된 전기화재 중 63.2[%]는 전기배선에서 단락에 의해 발생되었다. 따라서 전기배선에 의한 화재가능성에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 통전중인 도선이 주변 조영재와 접촉할 가능성 및 접촉에 의한 화재가능성에 대하여 연구하였다. 그 결과 도선에 흐르는 전류가 클수록 주변의 조영재와 접촉할 가능성이 높고 특히, 도선의 온도가 도선피복의 발화점을 넘는 경우 도선과 주변 조영재 간에 불꽃을 동반하는 방전이 발생됨으로써, 전기화재 가능성이 더욱 커지는 것을 실험적으로 알 수 있었다. In total electric fire in Korea in 2006, a rate of the electric fire caused of short in electric wire is over 63.2[%]. It is needed to study a fire potentiality in electric wire. This paper studies contact and fire potentiality between a electric wire and conductors existed around the electric wire. As amplitude of current in electric wire is bigger, as it has higher possibility to contact between a electric wire and conductors existed around the electric wire. In case of temperature of wire is over combustion point of outer sheath, it is appeared to spark discharge between wire and conductors. So the fire potentiality raise up.
장애경보 방지를 위한 연소 연기입자와 비연소 연기입자의 광 특성 분석

This paper is basic study for development of an advanced photoelectric type smoke detector that has high reliability by reducing the occurrence of nuisance alarms. This paper was attempted to distinguish optical characteristics of the typical fire smoke particle and non-fire smoke particle. According to UL 268 standards, three types of test fires (the paper, the wood and the flammable liquid) were used in this paper for measurement of the fire smoke particles, and the water vapor and the cigarette smoke that were known as the main cause of the nuisance alarms were also used for the non-fire smoke particles. A smoke detection chamber was created, which was equipped with one light source and several light sensors for enabling simultaneous detection of light extinction and scattering, respectively. This paper analyzes the optical characteristics of each smoke particle using this chamber.

Automatic fire alarm system is set up to automatically detect fire on buildings. Because of economic reasons, P-type receiver and a conventional type fire detector is normally used for automatic fire alarm system in Korea. Because early detection of fire is regarded as important, the need of finding technique of fire location increases. This paper is studied a method to improve a reliability and add a function of fire location detection on a conventional type fire detector and P-type receiver. Fire location is detected by a method that controller attached on the receiver and the detector is read with a time lag. A reliability of fire detection alarm system is improved with a method that false fire alarm is able to decrease using two different principle detector together. This paper is studied for basic data of improvement of low-cost addressable automatic fire alarm system.
전계해석을 이용한 전장용 절연보드에서 발생되는 도전성 탄화로의 진행경로 분석

As the rate of electronicization of automobiles increases, the use of insulation boards for electrical equipment has increased simultaneously. The insulation board used in automobiles has been demanded for its stability as well as miniaturization. When the insulation board for electric equipment is used in a harsh environment, it can cause a fire by forming a carbonized conductive path due to wetting. This paper analyzed the progress and characteristics of the carbonized conductive paths formed on the insulation board. And the electric field analysis was also performed by stages of the formation of a carbonized conductive path using the simulation program. As a result, two carbonization paths were found and theoretical analysis was performed. The results of the above study can be used for predicting the risk of insulation boards.
