Recently, interests toward the IoT technology has been expanded due to the spread of cheap and feasible microprocessors. Still, decision of control logic depends on expertise. In this study, authors built a rule-based on/off system using IoT device to control relative humidity in bathroom in purpose of reducing surface condensation occurrence in dressroom. It was found that control bounds cannot be suggested in deterministic values since base humidity, where moisture contents of air converge, differs due to boundary conditions. Change point analysis was then adapted to judge whether moisture content is restored to the baseline where control stopping point can be suggested.

The authors developed a nodal network model that simulates the flow of moist air and the thermal behavior of a target area. The nodal network model was enhanced using a parameter estimation technique based on the measured temperature, humidity, and schedule data. However, the nodal model is not good enough for predicting humidity of the target space, having 55.6% of CVRMSE. It is because re-evaporation effect could not be modeled due to uncertain factors in the field measurement. Hence, a data-driven model was introduced using an artificial neural network (ANN). It was found that the data-driven model is suitable for predicting the condensation compared to the nodal model satisfying ASHRAE Guideline with 3.36% of CVRMSE for temprature, relative humidity, and surface temperature on average. The model will be embedded in automated devices for real-time predictive control, to minimize the risk of surface condensation at dressroom in an apartment housing.
중국 개별관광객의 관광지 속성에 대한 중요도-만족도 분석

The purposes of this study were not only to find what the important destination attributes are when Chinese free-independent travelers visit to Korea but also to investigate how much they are satisfied with those destination attributes. For the empirical study, data was collected using both online and offline surveys targeting to the Chinese free-independent travelers who traveled Busan, Korea. The results of this study were following. Firstly, safety of tour destination was the most important attribute of destination for the travelers. Secondly, there were significant differences between importance and satisfaction of destination attributes for Busan. Thirdly, it was essential to manage a total of tour costs and the level of price in tour destination because the satisfaction of these attributes was much lower than the importance. Based on the above results, this study suggested implications for relevant stakeholders in Busan tourism industry so that they attract more Chinese free-independent travelers to visit Busan, Korea.
