Hwatae island is located in the southern entrance of Kamak bay,and the aquaculture area around it is a productive sea. The seasonal characteristics of water quality was studied from Feb.,1994 to Oct.,1994 around aquaculture area in Hwatae island.The results are as follows: 1) The characteristics of water quality around aquaculture area showed that autochthonous contribution was higher than that from neighbor sea area as Kamak bay and western-south sea. 2) Chemical oxygen demand(COD) was the lowest mean value of 0.92㎎/ℓ on surface of autumn season in the range of 0.27~1.58,while it was the highest of 1.68㎎/ℓ on bottom of spring season in the range of 0.65~2.80㎎/ℓ.And,which mean that almost area studied is in the eutrophic environment. 3) Nutrients were the lowest value on both layer of spring season except nitrogen on bottom layer of same season. 4) N/P ratios were lower than 16 of Redfield ratio in the almost season with the range of 4.51~11.25 except of bottom layer at spring and summer season. It mean that nitrogen is more limiting constituent than phosphorous in the growth of phytoplankton. 5) Eutrophication indices were high in the almost season expect summer in the range of 0~1.37. If mean that wide area of aquaculutre around Hwatae island is in the condition of eutrophication.And,chemical oxygen demand was considerable parameter to determine eutrophication index in the almost season,while dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) and dissolved inorganic phosphorous(DIP) were the same in the winter and spring,and autumn, respectively.

목적:본 연구는 한밭대학교 공학도들을 대상으로 독서 실태를 분석하고, 독서 동기 부여를 위한 실질적인 수업 모형을 찾고자 하였다. 방법:독서 빈도 및 선호도 조사 등의 설문을 통해 대상자를 분석한 결과, 대부분의 공학도들이 평소 독서를 거의 하지 않는 것으로 드러났다. ‘영상매체’에 대한 호감도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며, ‘재미’와 ‘시간의 효율적 활용’에 초점을 두고 수업을 구성해야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 조사 결과에 따라 2018학년도 2학기 ‘문학의 이해’ 15주차 수업에 해당 내용을 적용하였다. 결과:대부분의 학습자들은 영상매체를 활용한 수업이 작품의 내용을 이해하는 것과 작품을 내면화하는 것에 도움이 되었다고 답변하였으며, 이를 통해 문학에 대한 관심도 또한 상승하여 수업 이후에도 꾸준히 독서활동을 이어나갈 의지가 생겼다고 답변하였다. 결론:새 시대에 맞는 창의적 인재 개발을 위해서는 실질적인 공학도 맞춤식 독서 방안을 마련하기 위해 다양한 방안이 모색되어야 할 것이다. Purpose:The study analyzes the reading situation of Hanbat University engineers. And the goal is to find a practical model of class for motivation of reading. Methods:The subjects were analyzed through surveys such as frequency of reading and preference for reading. The results showed that most engineering students rarely read. So I could see that the focus should be on ‘fun’ and ‘efficient use of time’ when organizing classes. Meanwhile, engineers looked into the type of culture they preferred. This is to select the medium for the class. The results showed that learners have the highest affinity for video media. The results of the survey were applied to the second semester of 2018 ‘Understanding of Literature’ class. In order to write time efficiently, the text is set to be ‘short stories’. Results:As a result, ‘classes using video media helped us understand the contents of the work and internalize the work,’ most learners answered. This has also raised the interest of learners in literature. Therefore, students gave positive answers that they were willing to continue reading activities after class. Conclusion:To develop creative talent for the new era, a steady effort is needed to get engineers interested in reading. A variety of measures will have to be sought to come up with a practical way of reading for engineers.

PAHs(Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) are widespread contaminants in the marine environment. They are of mainly anthropogenic origin from urban runoff, oil spill and combustion of fossil fuels. Some PAHs are potentially carcinogenic and mutagenic to aquatic organism. The surface sediments core sediments were collected at 12 stations with gravity corer from May, 1998 to July, 1999. PAHs were detected at all of the surface and core sediments. Total PAHs concentrations in the surface sediments ranged from 171.40 to 1013.54㎍/㎏ dry wt.. Almost of the surface sediments, naphthalene was the highest in the range of 14.08 to 691.39㎍/㎏ dry wt. and anthracene was the lowest in the range of 0.49 to 22.66㎍/㎏ dry wt. Total PAHs concentrations in the core sediments ranged from 275.04 to 2838.62㎍/㎏ dry wt.. Naphthalene was the highest concentration in the range of 40.60 to 2294.06㎍/㎏ dry wt. and anthracene was the lowest concentration(2.63-11.30㎍/㎏ dry wt.). Most of the PAHs profiles in the outer site of Gwangyang bay showed lower concentrations and fluctuations than the inner bay. The correlation coefficients between individual PAHs and Total PAHs in the surface and core sediments were relatively higher in the low molecular compounds such as naphthalene, acenaphthylene and phenanthrene. In the relationship of the P/A(Phenanthrene/Anthracene) ratio and F/P(Fluoranthene/Pyrene) ratio, P/A ratio was generally above 10 and F/P ratio was displayed to above 1 in all sediment samples. These data indicate that PAHs in sediments around Kwangyang bay seem to be of both pyrolytic and petrogenic origin.

This study was performed to characterize the seasonal fluctuation of water quality and sediment environment from september, 1993 to August, 1994 in Kamak bay. Which was a productive area, but recently its fisheries conditions have been deteriorated because of increasing wastewater from municipal area, industry and autochthonous pollution by farm industry. In the survey of seawater quality, DO and COD concentrations were lowest in bottom layer at summer, but DIN, DIP and Si contents in same layer were higher than those in surface layer.And,which mean deminerization process of organic material in the bottom layer. N/P ratios were lower than 16 of Redfield ratio in the almost area with the range of 0.24~25.25. It mean that nitrogen is more controlling constituent than phosphorous in the growth of phytoplankton. Eutrophication indices mean that eutrophication area move from south to north entrance via northern-west inner area with seasonal change from winter to summer. In the survey of sediment environment, ignition loss(IL), chemical oxygen demand(COD) and total sulfide(S) were in the range of 5.02~21.11%, 1.80~44.73㎎/g-dry and 0.00~16.76㎎/g-dry, respectively. COD and S in surface sediment were highest at summer and autumn, respectively. And, they were higher than sediment standard in the northern-wast inner area, which mean heavily polluted conditions with organic constituents. And, COD and IL, COD and S showed relatively good relationship, whose coefficients were 0.65 and 0.73, respectively.
득량만 북동내만해역의 해양수질 및 저질의 계절적변동특성에 관한연구

본 연구는 남해안에 위치한 반폐쇄성인 득량만의 북동내만해역에서 해양수질과 저질의 계절적 변동특성을 파악하기 위하여 수행하였다. 18개 정점에서 2005년 8월 24일부터 2006년 5월 25일까지 계절별로 총 4회에 걸쳐 수질과 저질에 대하여 조사를 실시하였다. 염분은 동일한 조사시기에 조석간에 차이는 거의 없었으며 담수유입에 따른 염분의 변동이 크게 나타났다. 부유물질(SS)의 분포는 계절에 따라 상당히 다른 양상을 보이고 있었다. 얕은 수심과 조류의 영향을 크게 받고 있어 일기에 따른 변화가 컸다. 용존산소(DO)는 대부분의 조사 해역에서 하계와 춘계는 Ⅱ등급, 추계와 동계는 Ⅰ등급의 수질을 나타냈다. 화학적 산소요구량(COD)은 국지적으로 높은 농도를 보이는 정점도 있었으나 전체적으로 약 정 ~In등급 수준의 수질을 나타냈다. 규산 규소는 전반적으로 동계에 가장 낮은 농도 분포를 보였으며, 하계에 가장 높은 농도분포를 보이고 있었다. 총질소(TN)는 동계에 낮은 특성을 다른 조사시기에는 Ⅲ 등급 전후의 수질을 보여 질소의 농도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 총인(TP)의 경우 하계에 최고 농도를 보였으며, 전 조사시기를 통해 대부분의 조사 해역에서 Ⅱ~Ⅲ 등급의 수질을 보였다. 산휘발성황화물(AVS)은 몇몇 지점을 제외하고 거의 모든 정점에서 수산생물의 성장에 영향을 미친다는 0.2 ㎎/g-dry를 초과하는 농도분포를 보였으나 저질의 오염 기준치인 1 ㎎/g 이상(일본수산자원보호협회편, 1980)보다는 대부분의 해역에서 기준보다 낮은 분포를 보였다. 퇴적물의 화학적 산소요구량(COD)은 하계와 추계 조사시에 다소 높은 평균값을 보였으나 하계 조사시에는 상대적으로 10~15 ㎎/g-dry 전후의 낮은 농도분포를 나타내고 있었다.
