The magnetic fluid polishing technique can polish the tool of complex shape, because the polishing method which polishes as compress the workpiece by the magnetism abrasives to arrange to the linear according to the line of magnetic force. Therefore, we producted the magnetic fluid polishing device in order that mirror like finishing processes the tool surface. In order to a polishing condition selection, polishing characteristic was estimated by polishing conditions which are magnetic flux density, polishing speed, grain size, magnetic fluid. The tool was polished to the selected polishing condition. The result to evaluate the polished tool’s performance with the cutting force and tool wear, the polished tool's performance was improved compared with the tool not to polish.

Nuclear power equipments are required the dynamic and sloshing analyses based on the earthquake spectrum and static analysis on normal loading including pressure and nozzle loading to verify the structural integrity of the equipment The structure was modeled using finite element techniques. Calculated stresses from finite element model are evaluated in accordance with design criteria of KEPIC MCN, 2000 or ASME B&PV code. In this paper, the special loading for equipment design and analysis examples are introduced.

The objective of this study is to estimate the thermo-mechanical performance of cross corrugated plate with geometrical parameters in plate heat exchanger. Solid element needs a lot of elements and requires longer computational time, whereas shell element and sub model require less number of elements and computational time. For this reason, development of analysis technique is required. Based on the analysis technique, parametric analysis was performed applying parameters as plate thickness, pitch/height ratio and intersection angles. By the parametric analysis, we understand the characteristics for corrugated plate. in plate heat exchanger.

A cabinet of refrigerator is mainly composed of ASS copolymer, polyurethane(PU) foam and steel plate for insulation and support of structure. Outer plate is deformed in the circumference of duct which is interchanged between refrigerating room and freezing room as cold air stream and it is very difficult to prevent deformation because the reasons of deformation are not defined clearly. On this study finite element analysis of theoretical numerical analysis was applied to estimate deformation of cabinet and outer plate of duct region as constructing a finite element model and phenomenal analysis. The factors which affect deformation on outer plate of duct region were evaluated and the new design is also suggested to minimize deformation. It was suggested that the shape of flat duct which has rib at the end part of it can fill the empty space with PU-foam makes a smooth curved surface.
