우리나라 서남해안 간척지 및 간석지 토양중에 분포하는 질소의 화학적 형태별 함량을 조사하기 위하여 서남해안 4개 지역에 걸쳐 대표성이 있다고 판단되는 10개 지구에서 총 102점의 토양시료를 채취하여 토양중 질소의 화학적 형태별 함량을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 토양중 총질소의 함량은 619.5-5,533.4 mg/kg의 범위로 평균 1,857.6 mg/kg을 나타내었다. 지역별로는 경기도 옹진과 화옹지역 그리고 전남 고홍지역에서 평균 함량이 2,000 mg/kg을 상회하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 충남 석문지역의 경우 1,000 mg/kg 수준으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 2. 질산태질소의 함량은 19.5-169.0 mg/kg의 범위로 평62.7 mg/kg을, 암모니아태질소의 함량은 105.8-396.9 mg/kg의 범위로 평균 195.2 mg/kg을 나타내었다. 거의 대부분의 조사지역에서 암모니아태질소가 전체 무기태질소의 80% 정도를 차지하였으나 일부 SM, DH, IW 지구에서는 60% 수준을 나타내고 있었다. 간척지 및 간석지 토양중에 분포하는 무기태질소와 유기태질소의 비율을 비교한 결과 유기태질소가 전체 총질소의 80-90% 이상을 차지하고 있었다. The fractional composition of nitrogen sources was investigated in reclaimed tidelands and tidelands of southwest coastal area of Korea. The content of total-N varied to ranged from 619 to 5,534 mg/kg dry weight with a mean value of 1,857 mg/kg. The ranking of different fractions of nitrogen sources in reclaimed tideland soil samples was as follows: Acid non-extractable-N > uncounted-N > acid extractable-N > ammonia-N > nitrate-N. The content of ammonia-N, acid extractable-N, and acid non-extractable-N in reclaimed tideland soil showed highly negative correlations with pH. The content of acid extractable-N and ammonia-N in reclaimed tideland soil showed highly positive correlation with clay content.

우리나라 서남해안 간척지 및 간석지 토양중에 분포하는 중금속 오염물질의 화학적 형태별 함량을 조사하기 위하여 서남해안 4개 지역에 걸쳐 대표성이 있다고 판단되는 10개 지구에서 총102점의 토양시료를 채취하여 토양중 중금속의 화학적 형태별 함량을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 토양중 조사대상 중금속 오염물질의 전체 양은 Cu의 경우 7.7-54.1 mg/kg의 범위로 평균26.5 mg/kg, Cr은 27.9-80.8 mg/kg (537 mg/kg), Pb은 45.8-133.7 mg/kg (74.0 mg/kg), Cd은 0.2-1.8 mg/kg(0.8 mg/kg), 그리고 Zn은 40.7-174.4 mg/kg (93.4 mg/kg)을 나타내었다. 2. 우리나라 서남해안 간척지 및 간석지 토양중 중금속 오염물질의 화학적 형태별 분포를 조사한 결과, Water soluble과 치환태 (1M KCl-extracted) 중금속 형태는 조사대상 중금속 오염물질에서 미량 검출되었고 거의 대부분이 잔류태 (residual) 및 유기물과 결합된 형태 (organically bound)로 나타났다. The chemical fractionation of heavy metals was investigated in reclaimed tidelands and tidelands of southwest coastal area of Korea. The ranking of different fractions of heavy metals in reclaimed tideland soil samples was as follows: Cu : 0.1M NaOH-extracted > 0.1 M Na<sub>2</sub>P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub>-extracted > residual > 1M KCl-extracted = water soluble fraction. Cr : residual > 0.1M NaOH-extracted > 0.1 M Na<sub>2</sub>P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub>-extracted > water soluble > 1M KCl-extracted. Pb : 0.1M NaOH-extracted > residual > 0.1 M Na<sub>2</sub>p<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub>-extracted > water soluble > 1M KCI- extractcd. Cd : residual > 0.1M NaOH-extracted > 0.1 M Na<sub>2</sub>P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub>-extracted > water soluble = 1M KCl-extracted. Zn : 0.1 M NaOH-extracted > residual > 0.1 M Na<sub>2</sub>P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub>-extracted > water soluble > 1M KCl-extracted. The content of residual Zn in reclaimed tidelands and tidelands showed positive correlation with organic matter content but organically bound Zn showed negative correlations with CEC. The content of residual Cd and exchangeable Cd showed highly positive correlation with organic matter content but residual-, organically bound-, and exchangeable Cd showed negative correlations with CEC. Water soluble Pb showed positive correlation with CEC but organically bound Pb showed negative correlation with CEC.

우리나라 서남해안 간척지 및 간석지 토양중에 분포하는 인의 화학적 형태별 함량을 조사하기 위하여 서남해안 4개 지역에 걸쳐 대표성이 있다고 판단되는 10개 지구에서 총 102점의 토양시료를 채취하여 토양중 인의 화학적 형태별 함량을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다 1. 토양중 총인의 함량은 322.1-613.6 mg/kg의 범위로 평균 466.7 mg/kg을 나타내었다. 지구별로는 충청남도의 석문, 대호, 이원 지구에서 평균함량이 500 mg/kg을 상회하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 간척지 및 간석지 토양중 총인의 함량은 우리나라 일반 농지에서의 총인 함량과 유사한 수준으로 조사되었다. 가용성인의 경우 10.0-99.3 mg/kg의 수준으로 평균 33.2 mg/kg을 나타내었다. 2. 무기태인과 유기태인의 분획별 함량분포를 조사한 결과 무기태인의 화학적 형태별 함량은 Ca-P > Fe-P > Al-P > reductant soluble Fe-P의 순으로 나타났다. 전체적으로 간척지 및 간석지 토양에서 무기태인의 비율이 전체 총인의 약 85% 이상을 점유하고 있었다. 유기태인의 화학적 형태별 함량을 조사한 결과 inositol-P의 함량은 16.8-56.9 mg/kg의 범위로 평균 36.9 mg/kg을 나타내었고 그 밖의 nucleic acid-p와 phospholipid-p는 미량으로 검출되었다. The chemical fractionation of phosphorus sources was investigated in reclaimed tidelands and tidelands of southwest coastal area of Korea. The content of total-P varied to ranged from 322 to 614 mg/kg dry weight with a mean value of 467 mg/kg. The ranking of different fractions of phosphorus sources in reclaimed tideland soil samples was as follows: Inorganic phosphorus : Ca-P > Fe-P > Al-P > reductant soluble Fe-P. Organic phosphorus : Inositol-P > nucleic acid-p > phospholipid-p. The content of Al-P in reclaimed tidelands and tidelands showed negative correlation with organic matter content but showed positive correlations with pH. The content of Fe-P showed negative correlation with clay mineral content but showed positive correlations with organic matter content. Reductant soluble Fe-P and Ca-P were no correlation with soil properties. The content of inositol-P showed highly positive correlation with clay mineral, organic matter content, and CEC.
새만금 간척예정지 수도작 지대에서 수질시료중 화학성분의 함량변화

The concentrations of nutrients in precipitation increased slightly from May to June and did not change afterwards. Regarding irrigation water, the nutrient concentrations were high in the early stage of rice growth but decreased during the period of mid-June to mid-July. The concentration of Tot-N in runoff water increased significantly during the period of fertilizer application (basal, tillering, and panicle fertilization) and then decreased. The concentrations of Tot-N in runoff water ranged from 0.4 to 39.8mg/L (average of 5.9mg/L). The concentration of Tot-P in runoff water ranged from 0.0004 to 0.2084mg/L (average of 0.055mg/L). The Tot-P concentrations were high only at the early stage of rice growth after fertilizer application and did not change afterwards.

The present study was carried out for 7-months (from October 1,1997 to April 30,1998) at a rice cultivation area blocked from livestock farming, farmstead and industrial complex to investigate the runoff loading of nitrogen and phosphorus in a plot(5,000m<sup>2</sup>) paddy field areas. The runoff loading of total-N, ammonia-N nitrate-N and total-P were 12.96kg/ha, 5.42kg/ha, 1.52kg/ha and 1.41kg/ha, respectively. When the runoff loading of nutrients was compared by dissolved and adsorbed forms, about 66% of total-N by dissolved form and the rest 34% by adsorbed form were flowed into streams. But 56% of total-P by adsorbed form and the rest 44% by dissolved form were flowed into streams. The phosphorus compounds, which were flowed into streams by runoff sediments and then sedimented, keep exchanging with water at water body in undelivered condition. And it moves gradually into water layer. This process can cause eutrophication continually and repeatedly in water environment. So, a sound program is needed to reduce soil erosion from farmlands.

This study was carried out to investigate the paddy soil and water quality in Boryung freshwater reservoir watershed during the non-cropping season. Soil pH of the Boryung freshwater reservoir watershed were 5.39-5.78. Total-N and P contents were high by the accumulation of chemical fertilizer pal1ly. Heavy metal content of paddy soils were natural background level. Water pH of the Boryung freshwater reservoir watershed ranged from 6.82 to 8.64. Total-N content affected by a livestock wastes and sewage water were the higher than that of others and total-P content showed below 0.1 mg/L. Nitrate nitrogen contents was very high according to the influence a livestock waste and sewage water partly. Heavy metal contents of waters were natural background level.

The study was carried out to investigate the water balance and losses of nutrients from paddy fields during cropping period. The size of paddy fields was 95 ha and the fields were irrigated from a pumping station. The runoff loading was the highest in June because of the high concentrations of nutrients due to applied fertilizer. When the runoff losses of nutrients were compared to applied chemical fertilizer, it was found that 39.1 % to 42.5 % of nitrogen lost via runoff while runoff losses of phosphorus account for 6.3 % to 8.0 % of the total applied amount during cropping period. When the ratio was calculated between nutrients losses by infiltration and the applied of chemical fertilizer, two year results showed 9.1 % to 10.7 % for nitrogen and 0.2 % for phosphorus, respectively.

This study was carried out to estimate the runoff pollutant loadings for water quality management in Boryung freshwater reservoir watershed. The hydrological monitoring system were operated for water level measurement during 1999-2000 and temporal variation of water quality constituents such as pH, EC, total nitrogen, total phosphorus were analysed, periodically. Monthly runoff volumes by TANK model and potential pollutant loadings calculated by unit method were compared with measured values.

In intensive agriculture, exceeded chemical fertilizer application would increase the concentration of nitrate nitrogen in groundwater. Consequently, it could bring the eutrophication in lakes and streams. The present study examined runoff loading of nitrogen and phosphorus from the paddy field during non-cropping season. The runoff loading of total-N, ammonia-N, nitrate-N and total-P were 12.96kglha, 5.42kg/ha, 1.52kg/ha and 1.41 kg/ha When the runoff loading of nutrients was compared by runoff water and sediments, About 70-80% of total-N by runoff water and the rest 20-30% by runoff sediments were flowed into streams. But 60-70% of total- p by runoff sediments and the rest 30-40% by runoff water were flowed into streams. The phosphorus compounds, which were flowed into streams by runoff sediments and then sedimented, keep exchanging with water at water body in undelivered condition. And it moves gradually into water layer. This process can cause eutrophication continually and repeatedly in water environment. So, a sound program is needed to reduce soil erosion from farmlands.
