Multilateration(MLAT) may complement secondary surveillance radar and also act as a real-time backup for the ADS-B system. This System is using time difference of arrival (TDOA) and based on triangulation principle. Each TDOA measurement defines a hyperbola describing possible aircraft locations. The accuracy in MLAT system depends on the positional relationship of the receiver and aircraft. There are various algorithms to localize aircraft based on TOA estimation. In this paper, we use least square method and extended Kalman filter and compare their results. Study results show that the extend Kalman filter provides a better performance than the least square method.

The recent transition to Performance Based Navigation in aviation enhances the accuracy of aircraft position, safety and efficiency in air traffic operations by using satellite-based navigation system such as GNSS. However, intentional interferences with GNSS signal as well as ones coming from natural phenomena such as solar storm increase. GNSS have very low power and therefore their signals are more susceptible to interferences than ground-based navigation signals. This paper introduces requirements of alternative positioning, navigation and timing(APNT) system and relevant technologies when the GNSS signals are not valid.
제온 파이 보조 프로세서를 이용한 3차원 주파수 영역 음향파 파동 전파 모델링 병렬화

파형 역산 또는 역시간 구조 보정과 같은 3차원 탄성파 자료 처리를 위해서는 3차원 파동 전파 모델링과 그에 따른 대량의 수치 계산이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 주파수 영역 파동 전파 모델링을 이용해 제온 파이 가속기와 서버용 고성능 CPU의 성능 및 정확성을 비교하였다. 시간 영역 유한 차분법 알고리즘에 제온 파이의 특징을 고려하여 OpenMP 병렬 프로그래밍을 적용하였다. 주파수 영역 파동장을 얻기 위해서는 시간 영역 모델링과 동시에 푸리에 변환을 수행하였다. 3차원 SEG/EAGE 암염돔 속도 모델을 사용하여 주파수 영역 파동장을 생성한 결과, 제온 파이를 이용해 정확한 주파수 영역 파동장을 CPU 대비 1.44배 빠르게 얻을 수 있었다. 3D seismic data processing methods such as full waveform inversion or reverse-time migration require 3D wave propagation modeling and heavy calculations. We compared efficiency and accuracy of a Xeon Phi coprocessor to those of a high-end server CPU using 3D frequency-domain wave propagation modeling. We adopted the OpenMP parallel programming to the time-domain finite difference algorithm by considering the characteristics of the Xeon Phi coprocessors. We applied the Fourier transform using a running-integration to obtain the frequency-domain wavefield. A numerical test on frequency-domain wavefield modeling was performed using the 3D SEG/EAGE salt velocity model. Consequently, we could obtain an accurate frequency-domain wavefield and attain a 1.44x speedup using the Xeon Phi coprocessor compared to the CPU.

AFSIS-6(Airport Facilities Safety Integration System), a ground surveillance system, of preventing collisions between aircraft and GSE(Ground Service Equipment) vehicle in airside of an airport has been developed by using the location information with DGPS technology. The safety management system for moving object in airside has been designed, and it provides real time services in airside such as surveillance for GSE vehicles, automatic traffic signal control, management of FOD(Foreign Object Debris). etc. AFSIS-6 has the common platform expandable to the applications in other fields. The system has been tested in the airport environment successfully. It is expected that the safety management system development for the application in an airport could be used for the similar applications in the fields of military and security as well.

As the proportion of working women increases, easy and simple hairstyles have become popular. Because of these trends, a variety of hairstyles have been developed as well. This study investigated occupations in which stereotyped hairstyles which reflect formality and occupational characteristics are required and actresses' hairstyles in these occupation-themed TV series. The results found that 'News Anchor Hairstyle' keeps hair off the face as much as possible, generating a soft and trustable image. In fact, they had a hairstyle through which their job with a neat and tidy image could be easily guessed. In 'First Lady Hairstyle,' 'Politician Hairstyle' and 'Entrepreneur Hairstyle,' a neat and refined hairstyle is mostly found because they often appear in front of the masses and need to exercise strong leadership. In 'Flight Attendant Hairstyle,' up-style, chignon or neat bob cut is found. 'Miss Korea Hairstyle,' an up-style with a big hair like a lion, which goes well with a crown, is preferred.

Construction work, maintenance work and repair work on the railroad line have inherent risks due to the fact that workers have to work while the train is in normal operation. Working on the railroad line or near the railroad line is very dangerous unlike regular construction. Most importantly, occurring accident at a construction site is because of not following the basic safety regulation. This study has a comparative analysis between the performance of safety activities and the magnitude and implemented multi-variate regression analysis using the factor value to reveal the main factor which can control the level of safely. As a result, we suggest the effective safety management plan by comprehending the influence of workers` safety awareness on the industrial accident.
