In recent years, the utilization of renewable resources has been receiving considering attention. Therefore the information system requirement is increased. Web based online real-time reliability integrated information system(WORRIS) considering wind turbine generators is asked rapidly for more efficiency. Specially, the reliability information system is more important for implementing the smart grid. This paper proposes WORRIS-II considering demand side management in view point of reliability.

This paper proposes a new methodology for evaluating the probabilistic reliability of a grid constrained composite power system including wind turbine generators(WTG) using WORRIS(Web Based Online Real-time Reliability Information System). The proposed model can consider capacity limitations and transmission line forced outage rates. The random nature of wind speed can be incorporated in the evaluation by representing the WTG by multi state models. A simple case study shows in detail how it is used to perform a reliability evaluation study in proposed model and the results in WORRIS.

This paper describes a new methodology for grid expansion planning considering the probabilistic reliability of a composite power system including wind turbine generators(WTG). The proposed model includes capacity limitations and transmission line unavailability. Wind energy is one of the most successfully utilized such source in producing electrical energy. The random nature of wind speed can be incorporated in the evaluation by representing the WTG as a multi-state model. This type of model comes from a nodal equivalent load duration curve based on a nodal effective load model developed in recent years. The characteristics and effectiveness of this simulation model are illustrated by several case studies using a test system.

Web based online real-time reliability integrated information system is asked rapidly for more efficiency and demand response in recent. As the utilization of renewable resources has been receiving considerable attention in recent years, the information system requirement is increased. Specially, the reliability information system is more important for implementing the smart grid. This paper describes architecture of the WORRIS(Web based Online Real-time Reliability Integrated Information System) Version 7.0 system that simulates the reliability indices in composite power system considering wind turbine generators(WTG) developed successfully in this paper. And we had simulated the case study using Jeju island power system data.

A technique using a fuzzy search method which is based on fuzzy multi-criteria function has been proposed for GMS(generator maintenance scheduling) in order to consider multi-objective function. This paper evaluates the results of maintenance scheduling of the seven generation company obtained by the previous proposed method. The balanced maintenance scheduling for the grouped generations system may be proposed from the evaluated results.

Renewable energy resources such as wind, wave, solar, micro hydro, tidal and biomass among others are becoming more important because of increasingly restricted environmental constraints. This paper presents a method suited for the purpose and presents details of a reliability evaluation study on a power system with solar cell generators. Test results indicate the viability of the method.

This paper proposes establishment of generator maintenance scheduling(GMS) considering CO₂ emission constraints. In this paper, and also, GMS is established due to freedom of GMS of generators owned by a designated generation company. The objective function model that is for minimizing CO₂ emission is used in this paper. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approach are demonstrated by simulation studies for a real size power system model in Korea in 2010.

This paper presents the contingency analysis of power system using Transmission Reliability Evaluation for Large-Scale Systems (TRELSS) program. The characteristics of the TRELSSS program are illustrated briefly and the contingencies causing system problem are analyzed using the results from TRELSS program.
