        규칙적인 게이트볼 운동이 여성 고령자의 신체조성과 활동체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose this study was discuss and analyze effects of regular gate ball on body composition and functional fitness in elderly women. The subjects were thirty-eight elderly women, who take gate ball group(RPE 11~13, over 5years, 3~5times/week, 2hours/day), elderly educational program group(1time/months; sports dance, and Dan-joen breathing), and sedentary elderly group. Test items were body composition(%fat, LBM), and functional fitness with lower body strength(chair stand), upper body strength(2㎏ arm curl), aerobic endurance(6-min walk), lower body flexibility(chair sit-and-reach), upper body flexibility(back scratch), agility and dynamic balance(2.45m up-and-go). Date analyzing method was one-way ANOVA(Scheffe) using SPSS 11.0. Results were as follows: 1. In body composition, gate ball group was higher than other groups on LBM. 2. In functional fitness, gate ball group and elderly educational program group were higher than common elderly group on lower and upper body strength, and gate ball group was higher than other groups on aerobic endurance, agility and dynamic balance.

        규칙적인 걷기운동이 비만 여성고령자의 신체조성에 미치는 영향

        Many studies have been reported on the effect of exercise for the obese women, but few reported that effects of exercise in old-aged women with obesity. So, the purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of aerobic exercise on body composition in old-aged obese women. The subjects were chosen by 98 cases with obese women(BMI 25 ㎏/㎡ over) who 60 to 70 years old. They exercised regularly 45min per day, 3times per week during 12weeks and the intensity of exercise was 40-60%HRR using treadmill. The older women's % body fat, LBM, WHR and VFA were examined before and after the exercise program. The results of the study were as follows ; After exercise program, there were significant differences in VFA and WHR between before and after exercise. Anywhere, % body fat and LBM were also reduced but there was no significant effect of training. From the above finding, it could be concluded that low and moderate intensity exercise program composed of walking and full body stretching could improve the body composition of older women with obesity. these findings provide evidence that exercise with walking and stretching is an effective intervention to change the body composition, especially, to reduce visceral fat area, waist-hip ratio for older persons without dietary therapy.

        9주간의 플라이오메트릭 트레이닝의 세트수가 남자 고교생의 등속성 각근력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the number of optimal set(foot contact) of PT in the same exercise intensity. Twenty-four subjects participated in this study from S, N high school in B metropolitan city. Subjects were randomly selected divided into three groups, 1 set group plyometric training group(60-100reps, n=8), 2 sets group plyometric training group(100-150reps, n=8), 3 sets group plyometric training group(120-200reps, n=8). The group conducted PT programs consisting of 75-85%RM(20sec), 40-80 minutes a day, 3 days per week for 9 weeks. Date analyzing method were two-way repeated ANOVA (Scheffe), one-way ANOVA and paired t-test using SPSS 14.0. Isokinetic muscle function was measured before and after training, and the results were as follows. 1. Knee joint 60˚/sec 1) In case of peak torque%BW(right), a within group comparison revealed that both 2 and 3SG significantly improved extensors and flexors after the training. 2) In case of peak torque%BW(left), a within group comparison revealed that both 1 and 3SG significantly improved extensors and both 2 and 3SG improved flexors after the training. 2. Knee joint 180˚/sec 1) In case of peak torque%BW(right& left), a within group comparison revealed that both 2 and 3SG significantly improved extensors and flexors after the training. This study revealed that PT is most pertinent to about 100-150 repetitions(2sets) rather than an increase in quantity the number of set(foot contact).

        초등학교 저학년생의 골연령과 체격 및 건강관련체력 상관관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine correlation with bone age, physique and health-related physical fitness in 7~9 years old elementary school students. Data analyzing method was Kruskal-Wallis and Kendall`s correlation coefficient using SPSS Ver. 12.0. The result of 154 subjects as follows; 1. Comparisons with bone maturity, physique and health-related physical fitness. In predicted height, weight, sitting height and chest girth, advanced bone age group was higher than other groups. In height weight, sitting height and chest girth, advanced bone age girls was higher than delayed bone age girls. In health-related physical fitness, %fat was significant difference among groups. 2. Correlations with bone age and physique. Totally, bone age relate to physique factors in total group and boys, except predicted height factors in girls. also, it related with height weight, sitting height and chest girth in advanced group of the boy. Delayed bone age group relate to sitting height in girls. 3. Correlations with bone age and health-related physical fitness. Bone age relate to %fat in total group and boys. Cardiorespiratory fitness relate negative to in total normal group and girls.
