Origin and fate of TCP isomers were studied in Kurose River, Hiroshima, Japan. As main factors to control the fate, the adsorption characteristics of TCP isomers onto sediment and biodegradation in river water and sediment were studied. Concentration of TCP isomers in river water, sediment and SS were the highest in autumn. It was about ten times as large as that in winter. High concentration of o-TCP was noted except for spring. Different from other seasons, the concentrations of o-TCP was relatively low and m-TCP was not detected in summer. These variation seemed to be due to the difference in the rate of biodegradation with temperature. The concentrations of TCP isomers increased with the increase in flow rate under flooding condition. TCP in the river originated from non-point sources and not from wastewaters nor equilibrium was observed between bottom sediment and river water indicating TCP was biodegraded rapidly in the bottom sediment. The biodegradation rate in the sediment was the lowest for o-TCP and the highest for p-TCP. The biodegradation rate of m-TCP was small under low temperature, whereas it was large in high temperature above 20℃. The most biodegradable isomer, p-TCP, was not detected in most cases.

The purpose of this study is to provide an intelligent asset management system for economical and efficient maintenance of electrical facilities, At this time, a platform system was constructed to combine the hardware elements and the software elements and to predict the state health of future facilities based on the inspection results and historical data of the facilities. In order to make the data related to this data generation DB, the frame was designed to include all the inspection necessary facilities related to the “duty of electric safety manager (Ministry of Industry notification)”. We can use this to analyze the future management type (resident, agency, entrusted appointment), use purpose, period of use, installation place, etc. To this end, the platform has provided electrical equipment measurement elements and targets for ensuring safety of electrical equipment and provided basis for determining the decision-making priorities for maintenance such as replacement and repair through factor analysis of equipment . By establishing the proposed electrical equipment history management system, it is expected that quantified information will be obtained in the future and it will be possible to make decision based on the data.
