Purpose: This study examined the effects of Tacrolimus (FK506) on the expression of the apoptotic signal transduction proteins of Jurkat human T-lymphocytes. Methods: The cell viability was examined by a MTT assay, DAPI stain, enzyme activity of caspase family proteins, and western blotting for Bcl-2, Bak, Fas, and Fas-L. The cells were cultured in the presence or absence of FK506. FK506 induced cell death was confirmed to be apoptosis by the observation of nuclear fragmentation. Results: The viability of Jurkat cells was decreased by the addition of FK506 in a dose- and time- dependent manner. The FK506 induced activation of caspase-3 protease was observed. FK506 didn’t increase the catalytic activity of caspase -6, -8, and -9 proteases of Jurkat cells in a time-dependent manner. The viability was improved when a caspase-3 inhibitor was added. However, the caspase-9 inhibitor did not affect the viability. Bak protein expression was increased, and the Bcl-2 protein was decreased for some time. The expression of Fas and Fas-L were unaffected by FK506. Conclusion: FK506 induces dose- and time-dependent apoptotic cell death, and enhances the apoptosis of Jurkat cell by increasing the expression of Bak and caspase-3.

본 연구는 Q방법론을 적용하여 간호 실무에 임하는 간호사의 환자 돌봄에 대한 주관적인 구조와 유형별 특성을 탐색하기 위해 시도되었다. 임상에서 근무 중인 간호사 10인과의 심층면담 및 문헌고찰을 토대로 37개의 Q표본이 도출되었으며, 임상 간호사 34명을 P표본으로 선정하여 Q분류를 실시하였다. PC-QUANL 프로그램을 이용하여 분석한 결과, 간호사의 환자 돌봄에 대한 인식 유형은 여섯 가지 유형으로 분류되었다. 제1유형은 내외적역량 중시형, 제2유형은 지식 기반 기술적 능력 발휘형, 제3유형은 문제해결 중점형, 제4유형은 정서적 상호작용 강조형, 제5유형은 근거 기반 예방 행위 중시형, 제6유형은 안위 추구형으로 명명되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 간호사가 인식하는 환자 돌봄에 대해 확인함으로써, 궁극적으로 환자의 건강 회복, 유지, 증진을 도모하기 위해 환자 간호에 요구되는 간호사의 역량을 강화하고 간호의 질을 향상시키기 위한 중재 마련의 기초를 제시할 수있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to explore the subjective structure and types of caring for the patients in nurses using Q methodology. Based on the interviews with 10 registered nurses and literature review, 37 Q samples were selected. And then Q sorting was conducted with 34 registered nurses. Come to analyze the types of recognition of nurses for patient caring using PC-QUANL, it showed six types; (1) emphasis on the internal and external competences, (2) demonstration of skills based on nursing knowledge, (3) focus on problem solving, (4) emphasis on the emotional interaction, (5) emphasis on the preventive action based on evidence, and (6) pursuit of comfort. The findings of the study are expected to establish the foundation of intervention which can to improve the nurses`` competences of caring for the patients and quality of nursing care in clinical practice.
Synthesis and photovoltaic performance of novel ionic dyes for the dye-sensitized solar cells

The improvement of solar energy-to-electricity conversion efficiency has continued to be an important research area of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The mechanism of DSSCs is based on the injection of electrons from the photoexcited dye into the conduction band of nanocrystalline TiO2 or ZnO. Thus, the electronic structures, such as HOMO, LUMO, and HOMO-LUMO band gaps of dye moleculed in DSSC are deeply related to the electron transfer by photoexcitation and redox potential. Organic dyes, because of their many advantages, such as high molar extinction coefficients, convenience of customized molecular design for desired photophysical and photochemical properties, inexpensiveness with no transition metals contained, and environment-friendliness, are suitable as photosensitizers for DSSC. We believe that practically useful organic dye photosensitizers can be produced by exploiting electron donor/acceptor system with proper length of {pi}-conjugation in a chromophore to control the absorption wavelength and enhance the photovoltaic performance. In this research, We designed and synthesized organic dyes also investigated the photoelectrochemical properties of a series of ionic dyes in DSSCs.
