This paper describes a new interactive inverter between a photovoltaic(PV) array and single-phase utility that avoid the bulky input (60Hz) transformer on the AC slde. The interface employs a pwm boost converter on the DC side followed by a pwm current-forced single-phase rectifier for injecting the power from the PV array into the mains. The current waveform at the AC side remains sinusoidal and exactly m phase at all time. The circuit also has the advantage of requiring fewer switching device than high-frequency link system. This paper describes modeling of PV array and new system topology. simulation results on the performance of the connection are also presented

This paper compares the performances of estimate by computer simulation considering parameters of system specifications. installation and surrounding conditions with those of real PV system and show verification of designed value. We evaluate the performances of PV system with changing of parameter, specially a field type and suggest optimum condition in each field type.<br/> In the future, We will intend to develop an analysis tool and construct database for optimum design of PV system.

In a utility interactive photovoltaic system, a PWM inverter is used for the connection between the photovoltaic arrays and the utility The DC current becomes pulsated when the conventional inverter system operates in the continuous current mode and DC current pulsation causes the distortion of the AC current waveform. This paper presents the reduced pulsation of DC input current by operating the inverter with buck-boost chopper in the discontinuous conduction mode. The DC<br/> current which contains harmonics component is analyzed by means of separating into two terms of a ripple component and a direct component. The constant DC current without pulsation is supplied from photovoltaic array to the inverter. The proposes inverter system provide a sinusoidal AC current for domestic loads and the utility lme with unity power factor.

Among the various technical applications for solar power, the water pumping systems, intended for arid areas, are now the subject of studies and practical realization. A study of the interaction of the solar cell array and D.C motor is needed for these systems. This paper deals, therefore, with the performance of the direct current motors (seperate excited, series, shunt) supplied from solar cell array. The motor characteristics (current-speed and torque-speed) at different solar radiation levels were also studied.
