Experiments on natural convection mass transfer adjacent to upward-facing inclined plates were performed by employing an electrochemical technique. For this purpose copper electrodes and an aqueous solution of cupric sulfate and sulphuric acid were used under limiting currents. Experiments showed that the Rayleigh number marking the onset of secondary flow in the form of vortex rolls in the primary natural convection varies markedly with the angle of inclination, decreasing with increasing departures from vertical, and that the vortex wavelength is almost independent of the surface inclination.

A theoretical study for analyzing onset conditions of secondary flow in the form of vortex rolls in the primary natural convection over an inclined isothermally heated plate is carried out by employing the order-of-magnitude analysis under linear stability theory. For this purpose the propagation theory considering the variation of disturbances in the main flow direction is tested here. The present critical conditions for the infinite Prandtl number are found to approach the experimental data of water more closely than other theoretical results.

The earned income tax credit(EITC) lately introduced in korea responds sensitively to social security and economic condition. Therefore, both a model of the supply and demand and a change of its requirements are needed to preserve the original function of the EITC. In addition, we must analyze the characteristics of qualifying people in response to the change of the influence factors. In this study, a simulation model is developed to assume the budget and scale for the EITC according to a model of supply and demand and its requirements. This simulation model is contains a model of supply and its requirements as condition variables and also includes the functions of prediction and revision about the influence factors. It will support strategically both the prediction information of social influence in the program change and decision making information to improve the EITC.

The purpose of this study is to analyze various factors comprising a job satisfaction; determine possible factors that affects job satisfaction. Job satisfaction model is designed to evaluate major factors, such as job stress and strength, and to assess relationship between these factors. Partial least squares algorithm is used to develop a job satisfaction measurement model. To evaluate validity of developed model, survey data of health insurance review and assessment service is to applied.
