        윤활제 함침 나일론과 금속의 접합특성

        The joint method and characteristics of lubricant Impregnated MC nylon and metal are analyzed. Considering the productivity and economics, two materials are Joined with the process of turning, knurling, and induction heating. The Joint strength is determined by adhesion of the melted nylon, the size of knurl, and the interference from the difference of the diameters. The parameters affecting induction heating process are analyzed. The adhesion strength of the melted nylon is measured. Finally the joint strength is analyzed in the environments of low, room, and high temperature. The nylon/metal Joined material is expected to be widely used as the sliding machine elements with good friction and shear strength.

        나일론/금속 접합을 위한 유도가열공정의 분석

        N/A The characteristics of the induction heating process are analyzed for the joint of nylon and metal. The temperature of metal surface is measured using thermocouples. The relations of temperature and induction heating parameters are analyzed. Heat equation models are constructed and the temperature distribution is predicted using Fluent. The effects of heating parameters on the joint strength are evaluated. Finally, the optimal parameters of induction heating process are proposed as 16㎾ and 6 seconds.

        비 제어 상태의 레이저 직접 금속성형공정에서 적층높이의 모델링

        Models of the deposition heights in the uncontrolled laser aided direct metal deposition process are constructed for the enhancement of the process integrity. Linear and non-linear statistical models as well as fuzzy model are utilized as the modeling methods. The predictability of the models are evaluated with the values of the sum of square error. The algorithm to use the models in the feedback controlled system is suggested to increase the deposition height accuracy within a layer.

        플랜지부의 소성변형에 의한 박판의 굽힘가공에 관한 연구

        The sheet bending with large radius of curvature is analyzed with both theoretical and experimental methods. Sheet bending in elastic limit is accomplished by the plastic deformation of flange. The springback model is developed theoretically and the effects of the factors are evaluated. The prediction accuracy of the model is also evaluated by comparing with the experimental data. Finally, an algorithm to design the sheet-bending die is suggested for usage in industry.

        The concept of cutting rate-tool life(R-T)characteristic curve is extended to the machining economics problems with stochastic linear-logarithmic tool life models. The R-T characteristic curve presents the general loci of optima and is useful to select optimal parameters for multiple machining conditions. The R-T characteristic curve with linear-logarithmic tool life model may be determined by applying simplex method to the log-dual problems. The stochastic characteristic of tool life may be represented as a constraint in the machining economics problems. The constraint models with tool lives due to the tool failure and tool wear are constructed An end milling example is constructed to illustrate the algorithm. The differences between two cases of the deterministic and stochastic tool lives are compared.

        LEDs are widely used as they save energy with high efficiency than other light sources. Fabrication process of LED luminaires includes four inspection steps which are on/off, electric characteristics, aging, and illumination. In this study, four test steps are analyzed and a test equipment is designed, which enables four tests as one step in small or midium size companies. The design includes the frame structure, electric test circuit, connection method of tester and light wire, and illumination test panel. Based on module design, parts are fabricated and assembled to a test machine. Productivity and additional performances are estimated to analyze the development effects of the machine.

      • 공기여과기용 인슐레이터 제조를 위한 추출기의 개발

        Rubber insulator in air cleaner unit is used to reduce vibration and impact loads from the vehicle and engine bodies. The fabrication process consists of rubber mixing, cutting, forming, ejection, trimming, and inspections. Different from other machine-used processes, ejection process was operated manually by several skilled workers. Manual ejection has many problems such as low productivity, quality control difficulty, defective rate, high labor and disposal costs, die repair costs, and poor working conditions. In this study, automatic ejection machine is developed to solve these problems. To design ejection methods, manual work is analyzed. After conceptual design, detail design is executed for modules such as frame, driving units, sensing units, and control units. Based on module design, parts are fabricated and assembled to an ejection machine. Optimal operation conditions are established through the test run. Productivity and additional performances are estimated to analyze the development effects of the machine.

      • Evaluation of Statistical Modeling for Drilling Process

        최적 절삭 조건을 구하기 위한 절삭 경제 문제를 구성하는 데는 공구 수명, 가공 질, 절삭 동력등의 회기분석 모델이 필요하다. 일반적인 철 금속 가공성의 모델링은 선형 로그 식이 만족시켰지만 새로운 합금 금속 가공의 모델링에는 이차의 로그식이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 알루미늄(Al2024)의 드릴링 가공데이터를 이용하여 이차의 로그 모델들을 만들고 그들을 평가하기 위하여 세가지 방법을 사용하였다. 첫째, 삼차 로그 모델 및 이차 다항 모델과 비교하여 이차 로그 모델의 적합성을 평가 하였다. 둘째, 인공 지능 기법인 신경망 회로 모델과 비교하여 예측 정확도를 평가 하였다. 마지막으로 상관도 분해법을 이용하여 절삭 데이터의 비 선형성 및 통계적 모델의 적합성을 최종 평가 하였다.

      • 유연 생산 시스템을 위한 절삭 가공 계획 프로그램의 개발

        A prototype machining operations planning program is developed for the flexible determination of machining conditions. The main concept is the immediate provision of the optimal conditions suitable for the multiple machining environment with a single modeling data set. The program is designed to have database with the modeling data of tool life and cutting force which may provide several additional information comparing to the machining handbook. The program is constructed user-friendly with graphic user interface and easy to use in industry. An end milling example illustrates the concept and the utility of the program.
