This paper introduces an efficient method to manufacture the hollow composite insulator that has been reviewed by several simulations in the previous paper. The core processes are comprised briefly and the electrical and mechanical performance were examined according to the IEC standards. As a result, the specimen passed the IEC standards on electrical/mechanical tests in satisfactory. Furthermore, several material tests will be performed on the specimen such as FRP-tube and silicone rubber. Comprehensive approach followed by the test results would give feasible hollow composite insulator compliable to the IEC standards.

Composite insulators are rapidly replacing their porcelain counterparts in electrical substation applications. The composite insulator provide technical and safety ad vantages over other types of insulator. These insulators consist of a FRP(Fiber-reinforced polymer), with two metal flanges and silicone rubber. In this paper, we have investigated the influence of electric field different shaped silicone shed under SF. gas. As a result, shape of silicone rubber does not effected a electric field. However, the shape of shed can be decided the creepage distance.
ITO 표면 처리와 음전극 변화에 따른 OLEDs의 특성 연구

In this study, we report an improved efficiency of Organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs), using $UV/O_3$ treated anode and different cathode. We investigated the efficiency of OLEDs by $UV/O_3$ treatment of ITO surface. We Performed $UV/O_3$ treatment and found that $UV/O_3$ treatment enhanced the performance of OLEDs. The fundamental structure of the OLEDs was ITO $anode/{\alpha}-NPD/Alq_3/Al$ or Li:Al cathode. The Li:Al can improve the OLEDs efficiency dramatically in cathode because it has lower work function than Al. Current-voltage, Luminance-voltage characteristics and luminance efficiency were measured at room temperature.

Insulators which are used in the electrical industries are mostly made with porcelain(ceramic). But in these days the usage on composite insulators has increased steadily, because of its work convenience and stability. One of the most important issues for composite insulators is to keep airtight about an ingredient of insulated material named ‘SF<SUB>6</SUB> gas’ is included inside. Therefore bonding and combination among the composite insulators components is important factor to make insulators. The aim of this paper is to improve the bonding force and air tight properties between two components of composite insulator, Flange and FRP Tube through the optimum design.

Insulators which are used in the domestic electrical industries are mostly depended on importation from some advance countries. Even though insulators which are made of ceramic material have been mostly used domestically, the ratio of usage on composite insulators is recently being increased because of difficulties in manufacturing and high cost regarding ceramic stuffs. In this research, we are trying to develop the composite insulators which are very efficient in insulation regardless of the matter of weight. Even though the technique of manufacturing composite insulator are quite generalized worldwide at the moment, one of the most important issue is to keep security on the know-how that an ingredient of insulated material named ‘SF6 gas’ is included. Therefore, The aim of this paper is to improve the bonding force and air tight property between two components of composite insulator, Flange and FRP Tube.
