섬진강 중,상류 수계에서 붕어 개체군의 생태학적 특성치 추정

섬진강 중·상류 수계에서 붕어의 자원량 및 자원관리의 기초로 사용되는 붕어의 개체군 생태학적 특성치를 추정하고자 하였다. 채집된 붕어의 전장은 95-288㎜의 범위를 보였으며, 연령은 비늘의 윤문을 통해 결정하였다. 연령형질로서 비늘은 윤문이 뚜렷하게 구분되었으며, 이를 통해 확인된 최고 연령어는 5세로 나타났다. 전체 표본에서 2세 연령어가 가장 많은 양을 차지하였으며(n=38), 다음으로는 3세 연령어가 풍부하였다(n=22). 연변수지수 분석을 통해 매년 단일윤문이 형성됨이 확인되었다. 체장과 체중 간의 관계식은 BW = 0.0038BL3.73(R2=0.96) (p<0.01)로 추정되었고, 인경과체장 간의 관계식은 BL = 2.362R+2.76(R2=0.89)로 나타났다. 비선형 회귀분석을 통해 추정된 von Bertalanffy 성장 파라미터들은 이론적 최대체장 33.2㎝이었으며, 이론적 최대체중 1,798.4g, 성장계수 0.20년-1, 체장이 0일 때의 연령-0.51년 등으로 추정되었다. von Bertalanffy에 의한 붕어의 성장식은 Lt = 33.23(1-e-0.20(t+0.51))(R2=0.98)로 확인되었다. 연간 생존율은 0.427년-1로, 순간자연사망계수는 0.784년-1로 추정되었으며, 순간어획사망계수는 0.067년-1로 산출되었다. 생존율로부터 추정된 순간전사망계수는 0.851년-1로 추정되었다. The population ecological characteristics of the Crucian carp, Carassius auratus, were determined in order to estimate stock of the mid-upper system of the Seomjin River. The fish ranged in size from 95 to 288㎜total length. The age was determined by counting the scale annulus. The scales displayed clear annulus that were used to estimate the age. The oldest fish observed in this study was 5 years old. Age-2 fishes were the most numerous in the sample(n=38), followed in frequency be age-3(n=22). Marginal index analysis validated the formation of a single annulus per year. The relationship between body length and body weight was BW = 0.0038BL3.73(R2=0.96) (p<0.01). The relationship between the scale radius and body length was BL = 2.362R+2.76(R2=0.89). The von Bertalanffy growth parameters estimated from a non-linear regression method were L∞=33.2 ㎝, W∞=1,798.4 g, K=0.20year-1 and t0=-0.51year. Therefore, Growth in length of the fish was expressed by the von Bertalanffy`s growth equation as Lt = 33.23(1-e-0.20(t+0.51))(R2=0.98). The annual survival rate was estimated to be 0.427year-1. The instantaneous coefficient of natural mortality of estimated from the Zhang and Megrey method was 0.784year-1, and instantaneous coefficient of fishing mortality was calculated 0.067year-1. From the estimates of survival rate, the instantaneous coefficient of total mortality was estimated to be 0.851year-1.

The study sought to determine the efficient management of Korean aucha perch by estimating the potential yield (PY), which means the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) based on the optimal stock, in the mid-upper region of the Seomjin River watershed from August 2008 to April 2009. The stock assessment was conducted by the swept area method and PY was estimated by a modified fisheries management system based on the allowable biological catch. Also, the yield-per-recruit analysis (Beverton and Holt, 1957) was used to review the efficient management of resource, Coreoperca herzi. The age at first capture (t(c)) was 1.464 age and converted body length was 7.8 cm. Concerning current fishing intensities, the instantaneous coefficient of fishing mortality (F) was estimated to be 0.061 year-1; yield-per-recruit analysis estimated the current yield per recruit as 4.124 g with F and t(c). The fishing mortality of Allowable Biological Catch (F(ABC)) based on the current t(c) and F was estimated to be 0.401 year-1, therefore, the optimum. fishing intensities could be achieved at the higher fishing intensity for Coreoperca herzi. The calculated annual stock of Coreoperca herzi was 3,048 kg, the potential yield was estimated to be 861 kg with t(c) and F(ABC) at the fixed current level. Using yield-per-recruit analysis, if F and t(c) were set at 0.643 year-1 and 3 age, respectively, the yield per recruit would be predicted to increase 3.4-fold, from 4.12 g to 13.84 g.

본 연구는 생물학적 보전지수(IBI, Index of Biotic Integrity) 평가와 이화학적 수질 분석, 물리적 서식지 평가(QHEI, Qualitative habitate evaluation index)를 이용하여 하천 건강성을 평가하고자 남천의 10개 지점을 대상으로 2006년 8월과 2006년 11월, 2007년 2월, 2007년 4월까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 부착규조 조사를 실시하였다. IBI, QHEI값을 산정하기 위하여 USEPA(1999) 가 제시한 항목 중 우리나라의 환경적 특성에 맞게 수정 보안하여 사용하여 평가하였다. 남천의 하천 생태 건강도 평가 결과, IBI 등급은 ``보통``, QHEI등급은 ``열악``, BOD값에 의거한 이화학적 수질등급은 Ⅱ등급 기준인 ``약간좋음``으로 나타나 총체적인 하천생태계 건강도는 ``보통``상태로 나타났다. 이는 수 환경에 대한 교란은 적고 생물들이 서식하기에 비교적 양호한 수질임을 시사한다. 정점별로는 St. 6과 St. 7, St. 8, St. 9는 물리적 서식지 지수가 가장 ``열악``한 상태로 대부분이 하천의 흐름을 방해하는 교각이나 인공보가 곳곳에 설치되어 있으며, 하상구조가 대부분 단순화되어 있어 수생태계 심각한 교란이 예상되는 정점이다. 또한 St. 10은 전체적으로 서식 환경은 좋으나 생활하수 유입과 함께 하수종말처리장으로부터 배출되는 영양염으로 인한 수생태계의 교란을 초래할 것으로 예상되므로 추후 영양염 유입에 대한 관리가 필요한 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of study was to analyze the ecological health of the Namcheon Stream using Index of Biotic Integrity (IBI) Qualitative Habitate Evaluation Index(QHEI) and Water quality condition. Diatom samples were collected from ten sampling sites in the stream at total four times in 2006 and 2007. To assess ecological health of the stream, it was used modify metrics proposed by USEPA (1999), IBI values of the stream averaged 23 which was judged as a "fair", Physical habitate evaluation analysis showed that QHEI values in the stream averaged 57 indicating a "poor" condition. Water quality condition in the stream averaged " "indicating a "a little good" condition In conclusion, ecological health of the Namcheon Stream was "fair" condition that means habitate minimally disturb in the aquatic environment and relatively good water quality. Especially, St. 6 St. 7, St. 8, and St. 9 showed that QHEI values in the stream averaged 47 indicating a "poor" condition. St. 6 exists mostly to interfere with the flow of the river piers and artificial beams around. They are also serious disturbance at riverbed structure in aquatic ecosystems. St. 10 was good about habitate condition however, it was disturbance of aquatic ecosystems due to nutrient. It is suggest that St. 10 needs to be managed for nutrient inflows.

Electricity demand of Jeju island in 2012 will be reached to 682㎿. Jeju island will be faced with severe shortage of electricty. For a stable power supply to Jeju island, KEPCO started a construction of #2 HVDC transmission system. on this report, we woud like to introduce the insulation co-ordination of the 400 ㎿, ± 250 ㎸ Bipole HVDC Cable Scheme between Jindo and Jeju in HVDC construction project.
