This paper proposed design and development the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control of a photo voltaic (PV) array for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM)drive. Conventional MPPT controller was unstable by reason of the ripple-current of DC link in three phase inverter. Thus in this paper the control algorithm of IPMSM using i<SUB>q</SUB> current is composed to improve the insecurity of conventional MPPT controller. Proposed algorithm is operated by simulation with variation radiation condition. And analyze the response characteristic of IPMSM. The validity of this paper is proved by analyzed data.

This paper proses the novel control algorithm of maximum power point tracking for photovoltaic generation. The grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) power conditioning system (PCS) is the key technology in the future distributed production of electricity using solar energy. There are basically three types of grid-connected PV PCSs: the centralized PCS, the string PCS, and the module integrated converter (MIC) PCS. To improve the PV MIC, it needs the novel control algorithm of maximum power point tracking(MPPT) so that high-efficiency power conversion. The PV panel has a nonlinear characteristics and the power has maximum power point(MPP) at a certain operation point with coordinates voltage and current of MPP. Since the MPP depends on solar irradiation and cell temperature, it is never constant over time. thereby maximum power point tracking (MPPT) should be used to track its changes. The proportionality coefficient of the prediction line is automatically corrected using the hill climbing method (HCM) when the panel temperature of the solar arrays is changed. This paper is proposed the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of this controller.
