Coastal breakwaters and walls reflect some proportion of the incident waves energy. Today larger vertical wall structures are almost without exception built as shore protection method. It may be too costly to design structures to preclude overtopping by the largest waves. Recurved Wall (RCW) is one of the design for that purpose. However, the reflected waves by RCW with the inclined incident waves cause wave entrainment to the entrance of harbors or berthing area, which might enhance the wave heights inside the basin. Our group adopted bamboo section to the RCW that restrains wave penetration along the entrance channel, regardless of the direction of incident wave. When changed current Parapet in such form, harbor, fixed temperature of fishing ground may improve preservation function.
