Flow field and near-field noise of a centrifugal fan has been studied with an efficient compressible method and STAR-CD. The flow field of the centrifugal fan is assumed two-dimensional. Most of the compressible studies has been done by inviscid solver because viscous simulation shows little difference. The near field noise is estimated in terms of sound pressure level in frequency domain transformed from the computed pressure fluctuations using FFT. The simulation has been done on various design elements such as impeller blade shapes, the number of blades and cut-off clearance. The comparison shows that the number of blades has a significant effect on near-field noise without losing aerodynamic performance.

『적송자중계경(赤松子中誡經)』에 나타난 조명(造命)의 의미

This paper is to investigate the meaning of the ancient Chinese thought of Being the Master of Your Own Fate(造命) through 『The Essential Precepts of Master Redpine(赤松子中誡經)』 which is among the early Morality books(善書). Morality books are considered the collections of moral lessons in the form of exotericism which makes the thought of Three teaching(三敎) of Confucianism-Buddhism-Taoism(儒佛道) vulgarized. However, the most ultimate issues related to human destiny are contained in the Morality books, such as fortunes(吉凶禍福), longevity and premature death, the retribution of virtue and vice. 『The Essential Precepts of Master Redpine』 is configured in the form of exchanging questions and answers between Yellow Emperor and Master Redpine of legend provides more specific examples concerning how human can accept and change his own fate, not ending up where the questions and answers about just fate are confined. 『The Essential Precepts of Master Redpine』contains the celestial administration which heaven and stars show control over human, cosmic dual forces over five planets, and inherited burden, etc. These discussions reflect the inevitability of the finite human destiny. However, the thought of being the Master of Your Own Fate changing and making the human destiny as it is given has also appeared in the 『The Essential Precepts of Master Redpine』 The thought of being the Master of Your Own Fate presents an example of self-salvation(自力救援), having the belief in changing the fate through moral training(修身) and good deeds. or this reason, this paper is to investigate the meaning of mind which is the root and ground of practicing the ledgers merit and demerit(功過格) recording the good and illdeeds.

The nozzle flow which has combustion gas and particles was analyzed using the BGK code that has been developed newly. This code can afford to analyze inviscid, viscous and turbulent flows, and can be applied to calculation of the internal flow of a rocket nozzle. This calculation supplied the various data for the analysis of internal flow field in rocket motor nozzle. The modeling and analysis of particles in flow field provided the distribution of the particles in rocket nozzle.
