주파수 도약 확산 스펙트럼 시스템의 블라인드 도약 시간 및 주기 추정 알고리듬

본 논문에서는 디지털 주파수 판별기 (digital frequency discriminator)와 웨이블릿 변환 (wavelet transform)을 이용한 주파수 도약 확산 스펙트럼 시스템 (frequency hopping spread spectrum systems) 신호의 도약 시간 (hop timing)과 도약 주기(hop duration)를 블라인드 (blind)로 추정하는 알고리듬을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리듬은 기존에 제안된 시간 상관함수(temporal correlation function) 기반 도약 시간 추정 알고리듬에 비하여 구현 복잡도가 낮을 뿐만 아니라 추정 성능이 우수하다. In this paper, a blind hop timing and duration estimation scheme for FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) systems based on digital frequency discriminator and wavelet transform is proposed. The proposed scheme not only requires the lower hardware complexity but also shows superior estimation performance compared to the previously proposed temporal correlation function based hop timing estimation scheme.

In this paper. we propose receiver algorithms for VHF (Very High Frequency) digital link mode-2 (VDL Mode-2) systems. Unlike conventional digital communication systems using the root raised cosine filter as a transmit and receive filter. raised cosine filter is used as a transmit filter in VDL Mode-2 systems. Hence. it is crucial to design and implement the optimum low pass receive filter by considering the amount of inter-symbol interference and noise performance. On the other hand. due to the short preamble pattern, it is crucial to develop an efficient packet detection algorithm for reliable communication link. In this paper. we design the optimum receive filter and packet detection algorithm and evaluate the performance of receiver adopting the proposed receive filter and packet detection algorithm.
