        This paper is about the relations between the electric multiple unit and ESS(Energy Storage system here after) applying bi-direction Buck-Boost Converter. ESS may be possible to suppress the line voltage drops and the power loading fluctuations and to save the regeneration power lapses. This paper confirm for simulation that ESS reusing regenerative power generated during braking in train. Also presents the influence of regenerative power variation of train and catenary acceptability for energy saving obtained by applying the ESS to Daejeon Metro line 1.

        도시철도는 차량, 신호, 선로, 전기등 도시철도에서만 사용되는 특수한 장비와 일반 산업과 범용으로 쓰는 장비들이 결합되어 승객을 안전하게 수송하고 있다. 이러한 장비가 고장이나 성능 저하일 경우 즉시 점검 또는 부품 교환으로 성능 유지가 확보되어야 하며, 이를 위해서는 장비별 일정 수량의 부품이 예비품으로 확보되어야 한다. 따라서 도시철도시스템의 성능 유지를 위해서는 중요 부품의 적정 예비율을 산정하고 그 기준에 맞는 적기 구매로 시스템의 성능 유지에 차질이 없어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 도시철도 시스템의 안정적인 운영에 필요한 적정 예비율 산출을 위해 열차운행 조건과 주요 시스템 운영에 대한 영향, 승객 서비스에 영향을 미치는 정도와 부품의 특성에 대한 연구를 통하여 주요 저장품에 대한 예비율 산출 기준을 제시하고자 한다. Urban rail are transporting passengers safely by general industrial purpose equipment and special equipment combination used only in urban rail with vehicles, signals, rail, electricity, etc. in case of equipment failure or performance fails, such equipments must be secured checked or replaced immediately to maintain the performance To do this, a constant quantity of each piece of equipment parts should be obtained as a spare part. to maintain the performance of urban rail systems, proper reserve rate calculation and timely purchase of the critical components is needed In this paper, propose that reserve rate calculation base on major storage products in order to optimal reserve rate calculation required for stable operation of urban railway system through the study for the impact on the train operation conditions and major system operating, the passenger services and the parts characteristics.

Aspects of improving the performance of automatic driving, the followings are investigated and studied : Brake system maintanence method of vehicle, the need to improve braking system, test method of blending brakes, how to minimize the delay of commands for real-time control.         The purpose of this paper is to trace the exact stopping point through the modeling of Multi Brake Force which is done through the information that remaining distance to the stopping point in the event of a slide(rapid change of acceleration) due to outside environment factors, not normal vehicle breaking in the driverless automatic operation system. If the acceleration problem occurs when it slide near to the stopping point, It can be controlled by ATO device Multi Brake Force pattern which is considering time delay of acceleration change about braking command.

      • 도시철도 지하 수 · 변전 시스템의 철공진 현상에 대한 사례연구

        전력 계통 망에서 외란 현상들은 전력 품질에 영향을 주는 중요한 요소로 인식되고 있다. 이러한 장애 요소들 중에서, 철공진 현상은 수·변전 시스템의 전력 품질을 저하시키고 시스템의 안정상 문제점을 일으킬 수 있는 외란 중 한가지이다. 철공진 현상은 전력계통 운영중에 나타나 과도한 전압과 전류를 수반하는 복잡하고 특이한 현상 중 하나이며, 계기용 변압기의 소손, 금속산화물 저항의 파괴 그리고 전력 계통과 전력기기에 심각한 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 본 논문은 도시철도 수변전 시스템에서 발생되는 철공진 현상을 이론적인 모델링을 통해 해석하였으며, 실제 현장에서 발생한 문제점을 바탕으로 실증적인 해결방안을 연구하였다. 그리고, 지하화된 수·배전 방식을 채택하고 있는 도시철도 전력 계통에서 철공진에 의한 계기용 변성기의 손상 사례와 이에 대한 대책을 제시하였다. Power disturbances have become an important factor on the increase through electrical networks. Ferroresonance is one of these disturbances that can occur on distribution systems, affecting power quality and security problems. Ferroresonance is a particularly complex case of disturbance that involves high levels of over-voltage and over-current distortion in operation, of which phenomenon can be a devastating blow to voltage transformers,power system and electric equipment. This paper is to present an analysis of Ferroresonance, its theoretical modeling aspect, and to conduct research of ironing it out based on an empirical study in the operating field. Furthermore, actual cases that are the destroyed voltage transformers owing to Ferroresonance are depicted. In addition, the appropriate preventive solution for unpredicted accidents may come about within the underground power distribution of urban rail way substation is proposed.

      • 사무활동이 서울시 인구성장에 미친 영향에 관한 연구

        Most developing countries have suffered from continuing rapid growth of their largest cities. The case of Korea is no exception. The percentage share of Seoul to the nation's total population steadily rose from 13.01% in 1966 to 23.83% in 1985. It appears that such population concentration in Seoul is attributable to various and abundant job opportunities, created from the accumulation of various information industries and the concentration of high educational, cultural and recreational facilities. A more important factor, however, seems to be the concentration of office employment in both public and private sectors. This argument is well revealed by the change of the employment structure of Seoul. This study thus examines the change o the structural characteristics of employment by occupation between 1966 and 1985 for the city of Seoul, more specifically, office-type jobs and the possible factors which have influenced population growth. An attempt is also made to analyze the degree of concentration of office-type jobs, and the impact of the functions of office activity on population growth. The increase of office employment stands for the coming of a post-industrial society because the office employment have been distinguished in advanced economies. This office employment has continuously increased since the 1960's in Korea. Gradual change of the occupational structure is leading the majority of the labour force from manual and 'blue collar' workers into non-manual and office type occupations. This rapidly growing office activity is concentrated 38.3% of the nation's total office employment in Seoul. Moreover 57.4% of the nation's total office employment is concentrated in the largest four cities in Korea, including Seoul. The number of office employment workers in Seoul will surpass that of blue-collar workers in a few years. The shift-share analysis for the occupational employment data since late of 1960's shows that the growth of office employment has structural influence on the employment growth in Seoul. Especially this impact of office employment is more evident after the late 1970's. And the results of the location quotient analysis reveal that office employment has strong influence on population growth. From the 1960's to the first half of the 1970's, the employment and the population growth in Seoul was lead by the growth of blue collar workers. But the impact of office employment have surpassed that of blue collar workers since the late 1970's. So the drive force of the employment and the population growth have changed from blue collar workers to the office employment. This trend is more apparent since 1980. Such rapidly growing office employment has played an important role in the growth of population. From these results, it can be said that the office employment drives the change and the growth of employment and population in Seoul. Since the office activity shares gradually more importance in urban growth, it will require a more detailed study on the structural change of occupational employment and its relation to urban growth.
