In order to develop and improve test mode about Pre-Ignition detection of Gasoline Turbo GDI Engine, this paper compare Pre-Ignition occurrence characteristic in vehicle test condition of FS 1.6 T-GDI / BMW MINI 1.6 T-GDI, and confirm Pre-Ignition occurence characteristic in Dynamometer test condition of FS 1.6 T-GDI. Through Test Result by way of this developed vehicle & dynamometer mode about HMC’s FS 1.6 T-GDI & BMW MINI 1.6 T-GDI vehicle, this test re-appear Pre-Ignition phenomena, and clear the standard of Pre-Ignion Phenomena. In case of FS Gamma 1.6 T-GDI, Pre-Ignition is inferior in hot intake temperature. In case of increasing hot intake manifold temperature, Spark Timing is retarded, so Exhaust Valve temperature is increased. Contrary, Torque is reduced at Hot ambient condition in BMW MINI.
