The purpose of this study is to develop retro-commissioning process and related documents to quantify the energy performance of the industrial facility and to contribute to enhancement of the energy efficiency and CO2 emission reduction of the facility. Developed process and methodology were adapted to sample project, which consumes about 1, 632, 623Gcal a year, resulting in more than 6 percent of CO2 emission reduction every year. The researchers expect similar commissioning activities to be performed utilizing these process and methodology to optimize the energy performance and reduce CO2 emission of the industrial facilities.

The purpose of this paper is to develop and establish energy management system for large scale factories. Large scale and complexness of the facility often disturb operators and consultants from effective energy audit and implementation of energy conservation measures. The researchers applied layering method to simplify and also bring convenient access to the energy flow map of the whole facility. Customized energy efficiency index and operation support tool are also studied to be integrated in the developed energy management system. It was found that the energy management system for certain large scale factory is able to support operators in their everyday operation with the specified operation set point and expected energy consumption reduction which are collected, calculated and analyzed by the system with the existing data related to operation and energy consumption of the facility.
