Evaluation and selection of supplier for equipment, materials, construction and services is a important decision making process which requires transparency, objectivity, and universal validity. Current supply and construction office's evaluation of pallets suppliers using predetermined weights of evaluation factors has probabilities of causing ambiguity, subjectivity, and inappropriateness of decision making process and weights establishment. To complement these weak points, this study was conducted using CCR DEA, cone-ratio DEA, cross-efficiency analysis and super-efficiency analysis. The scores of DEA for three supplier candidates were all unity, whereas the scores of cone-ratio DEA, cross-efficiency, and super-efficiency analysis could rank the decision makings units(DMUs). Therefore the use of DEA was feasible in evaluating and selecting optimum models for the pallet suppliers.

방사성폐기물용기의 설계는 용도 (운반, 저장, 처분)의 안전요건에 부합돼야 할 뿐 아니라 경제성과 기술적 기준도 만족해야한다. 이러한 기준은 장차 원전해체로부터 발생할 다량의 저준위/극저준위 해체폐기물의 관리에도 해당된다. 해체폐기물의특성은 원전운영에서 발생하는 방사성폐기물과는 매우 다르므로 적합한 용기의 개발이 요구된다. 이 논문은 다목적용도의 표준용기 개발을 제시한다. 이 개념은 경주처분장과 같은 국가 인프라를 고려한 원전해체폐기물의관리를 최적화하기 위한 용기이다. 이 연구는 일련의 시제품을 설계 또는 제작한 것이다 : 극저준위용 소프트백, 저준위용 금속용기 (해상운반용 표준 IP2 용기 및 도로운반용 ISO 용기), 이들 용기 설계의 안전성 분석을 위한 시뮬레이션 및 시험결과는 규제요건에 잘 부합되는 것으로 나타났다. 콘크리트 용기의 후속개발은 2016년에 수행예정이다. Radioactive waste container designs should comply with the requirements for safety (i.e., transportation, storage, disposal) and other criteria such as economics and technology. These criteria are also applicable to the future management of the large amount of LLW and VLLW to arise from decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) of nuclear power plants, which have different features compared to that of wastes from operation and maintenance (O&M). This paper proposes to develop a set of standard containers of multi-purpose usage for transportation, storage and disposal. The concepts of the containers were optimized for management of D&D wastes in consideration of national system for radioactive waste management, in particular the Gyeongju Repository and associated infrastructures. A set of prototype containers were designed and built : a soft bag for VLLW, two metallic containers for VLLW/LLW (a standard IP2 container for sea transport and ISO container for road transport). Safety analyses by simulation and tests of these designs show they are in compliance with the regulatory requirements. A further development of a container with concrete is foreseen for 2016.
DEA-AR모형을 이용한 우편집중국 운영의 상대적 효율성 분석

Mail centers perform the essential process such as sorting and transporting postal items for provision of speedy, reliable and secure postal services. And there is need of efficient operation of the centers to enhance the service quality. But very few attempts have been made at measuring the efficiency of operating the postal logistics hubs. This paper analyzes the operation relative efficiency of mail centers using data envelopment analysis(DEA) and analytic hierarchy process(AHP). CCR model and BCC model of DEA are used. Input and output data on 22 mail centers were gathered from Korea Post. Survey of pairwise comparison of input and output factors was conducted for the purpose of establishing assurance region(AR) The analysis shows the each mail center's efficiency score, scale efficiency, returns to scale, reference set, etc. The result of this study implies the possibility of improving the inefficient mail centers through increasing or decreasing the outputs or inputs.
