섬진강과 임진강에 서식하는 쏘가리 Siniperca scherzeri (Perciformes, Centropomidae)집단의 성 성숙 및 섭식특징

2008년 4월부터 10월까지 임진강과 섬진강에서 쏘가리의 산란 생태를 조사하였다. 산란에 참여하는 쏘가리 개체군의 체장과 생식소성숙도지수(GSI)의 상관관계를 조사한 결과 암컷은 체장 200㎜이상의 개체에서 성적으로 성숙하였고, 수컷은 체장 180㎜이상이 성숙되었다. 섬진강산 암컷의 GSI는 4월에 가장 높은 값인 7.43%를 나타냈지만, 이후 점차 감소하여 5월에 5.55%, 6월에 3.58%로 점진적으로 감소하다가 8월에 급격히 감소하고, 9월에 연중 최저치인 0.44%로 낮아졌다. 임진강산 암컷은 섬진강산 암컷과 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 임진강산 수컷의 GSI 값은 암컷보다 높아서 4월 5.96%, 5월에는 8.03%까지 높아졌고, 6월 초부터 낮아졌으며, 6월말에 2.12%이었고, 9월에 0.2% 이하로 가장 낮게 나타난 후 점차 상승하여 10월에 0.54%이었다. 암컷의 생식소를 조직학적 관찰한 결과 섬진강과 임진강 집단에서 모두 GSI의 변화는 비슷하게 발달하였다. 쏘가리 위 내용물 중 어류가 차지하는 비율은 섬진강과 임진강에서 각각 92.0%, 90.0%로 나타나 쏘가리의 가장 중요한 먹이생물이었다. 쏘가리 위 내용물 중 소화가 많이 진행되어 종의 동정이 불가능한 어류의 비율이 각각 50.0%, 72.2%로 높게 나타났다. 쏘가리의 조사기간 중에 섭식율은 섬진강이 36개체로 38.3%, 임진강이 53개체로 21.8%로 매우 낮았다. This study was conducted to investigate the reproductive ecology of the Korean Mandarin Fish, Siniperca scherzeri in Seomjin River and Imjin River from April to October 2008. After have investigating the relationship between standard length (SL) and Gonadosomatic index (GSI) of Siniperca scherzeri, we can conclude that the body length of maturation was over 200㎜SL in case of females and over 180㎜SL in males. The GSI of the females that were from Seomjin river was the highest in April (7.43%), and gradually decreased after May (5.55%) and June (3.58%). The GSI was decreased sharply in August and indicated the lowest value in September (0.44%). The GSI of the females that were from Imjin river showed similar tendency of females`` GSI from Seomjin river. The GSI of males from Imjin river was totally higher than that of females, it was 5.96% in April, and 8.03% in May. It was lowered in early June, and late June, it indicated 2.12%. In September, it was the lowest value (0.20%), and increased after October (0.54%). The result of histological study of ovary presented similar result of the study of GSI in Seomjin river and Imjin river. The ratio that fishes constitute in stomach contents of Siniperca scherzeri was 92% in Seomjin river and 90% in Imjin river. Digestion of food organisms and the ratio of unidentifiable fishes in stomach contents was fairly high, and it was 50% in Seomjin river and 72.2% in Imjin river. In the period of study, eating ratio was very low 38.3% (36 ind.) in Seomjin river and 21.8 (53 ind.) in Imjin river.

In this study we described reproduction study of Korean endemic species, Acheilognathus koreensis and three other acheilognathinae species A. signifer, Rhodeus pseudosericeus, and R. uyekii. Morphology of egg shape and larvae just hatched is unique by the species respectively. There is no interrelation factor between size of female and number of spawned eggs per one time. Minium water temperature for spawning of A. koreensis was observed in 13.0℃ having low hatching rate with 43.5 percent. The egg of A. koreensis began to hatch approximately 79 hours after insemination. As higher as water temperature until 22.0℃ hatching elapsed time for developing eggs of A. koreensis and three species in this study was shortened. A. koreensis was grew up to be a adult enough which can be join to new production for three hundred days after hatching with 52.4 mm in total length. This reproduction study will be applied to preservation of korean endemic fresh water fishes basically.

The change of fish communities by the change of water ecosystem in the Posong river were investigated from 27 March, 1992 to 26 April, 1993. Total collected fishes were 10 families, 30 genera, 42 species or subspecies, 3,845 individuals including 30 species or subspecies of Cyprinidae, and among them 16 species were known as Korean endemic species. Hemiculter eigenmanni and Carassius cuvieri were collected in the present studied areas for the first time. In the Posong river, the fish fauna from running water (rotic zone) ecosystem was quite different from that of lake (lentic zone) ecosystem by the change of water ecosystem. The dominant species were Zacco platypus, Z. temmincki, Acheilognathus intermedia, A. koreensis in the collected area and the number of individuals.

The fish communities were investigated at nine sites of the Posong dam area from March 1992 to June 1994, and compared previously reported fish fauna, and studied ecologically. The fish fauna of the Posong river was classified 58 species belonging to 36 genera and 15 families, and that of the Posong dam area was classified 40 species belonging to 27 genera and 9 families. In the Posogn river, dominant species were Zacco platypus, Z. temminckii, Acheilognathus intermedia and A. koreensis in the number of individuals. Site 4 and site 9 were abundant in species. Community similarity of the Posong river and the Isachon river is 0.57 and that of the Juam dam is 0.77. The collected fishes in the Posoong dam area, not collecting in the Juam dam, were Hemibarbus labeo, Sarcocheilichthys nigrinnis morii, Abbotina rivularis, Rhodeus ocellatus, Rhodeus notatus, and Silurus microdorsalis.
