This study has examined the tea drinking of people of good ancestry early in Chosun Dynasty with focusing on the "Ode of Tea"(writings on the song of tea), the first book on tea in our country, written by Lee Mok. The spirit of people of good ancestry in Chosun Dynasty(Ancient Korea) respected the righteousness inwardly and the reverence outwardly. It also regarded both the cultivation and self-examination very highly in daily life. The contents of the "Ode of Tea" are as follows: 1) Motive of writing and Introduction 2) Kinds of Tea 3) Key Producing Area for Tea 4) Landscape of Tea Field 5) 5 Merits and 6 Virtues of Tea 6) Boundary between Reality and Truth As the true nature of tea and the spirit of people of good ancestry are in contact, it can be forecast that the relation between the daily life of people of good ancestry and the tea has been very close. As tea is a matter having its own spirit at the same time, it also has high value as a beverage of self examination in the daily life of the moderns.

Anniversary of a baby's first birthday is a ceremony that has to be gone through to celebrate the first anniversary of a baby's birthday. The ceremony consists of such courses as rendering devotion, dressing up the baby, preparing foods for the ceremony, making the baby pick up anything it likes among different things like money, pencil, book, thread, etc., which are laid before it(hereinafter to be called as 'picking-up'), and so on. Every course of the ceremony is full of sincerity, confirming the baby is a member of a family as well as giving thanks to the nature. It is also a very important socialization procedure for the baby.<br/> Followings are the findings on my inquiry about the actual state of today's anniversary of a baby's first birthday. As for the consciousness of the people inquired on the anniversary of a baby's first birthday, most of them(76.9%) think the celebration is necessary. And as for the meaning of the celebration, the inquiry item, 'To show that the baby has grown well', got the highest point. Concerning the 'picking-up', 86.3% answered 'yes', showing the consciousness that the family-related ceremony of 'picking-up' is regarded as more important than the external celebration ceremony itself. For the level of understanding about the traditional ceremony of anniversary of a baby's first birthday for each inquiry item, the findings are 80.8% for 'distributing the first birthday food(rice cake)', 77.7% for 'well-wishing remarks and giving presents', 50.2% for preparing foods for the ceremony", 42% for 'blessings for the first birthday' and 42% for 'rendering devotion'. The consciousness and actual state of anniversary of a baby's first birthday, and the level of understanding of the traditional anniversary of a baby's first birthday are all deeply connected with the 'mother'.

I have examined through literature the meaning and fuction which love gives in the modern life, and considered on the direction which love should take in the home life in order that the function of home might be reghtly performed and in order to be helpful in prompting the quality of life on the side of welfare. The inware function of love in most basically required for the peculiar function of home affection, sexual felations, procreation and up bring. The outward function of live is to control the sex life by means of official recognition of the sexual realtions based in love. Love also makes it possible to preserve the species. The secondary function of love internally consists of family education, rest recreation and belief externally bringing the social stablization. Accordingly the role of home as a sheltr in the modern industrial society has become more emphasized, and when the love, as a basic source of vital power in life, is full arious us it will bring about the sound fostering and progress of home and society.

This is basic study for the development of the program of the lesson in etiquettes to be used in the education of the grown-ups. On the basis of the documentary records, researches have been made into the requirements and the improvement plans of the program through the questionnaire collected from the attendants at the social education institution. 1. Various courses of etiquette lessons have to the provided as the attendants at the program particepate in it for various reasons. 2. Etiquette education is expected to be taken on the basis of theory in paralled with practices. 3. Diverse utilization plans need to be investigated as to the teaching instruments to be used in the etiquette lessons. 4. In the etiquette lessons as well as the daily etiquette for language, greeting, etc., deeper quality of education for the marriage ceremony, funeral and memorial services is required. 5. Teaching methods have to be prepared so that interest be easily induced to the attendants through various new attemps. 6. Because of the high correlation existing between the level of interest and that of satisfaction, social interest as for the etiquettes has to be appropriately encouraged.

The purpose of this study to investigate college student's view of housework on traditional living-culture as related to value and division of housework. View of housework is the main concept which continue, in the old book with the authority of education contents for home management written the criteria. The subject of this study were 566 college student conducted using questionaires. Data were analysed by SPSS computer programs. Such Method as frequency, ANOVA. Pearson's correlation were used. The major result of the study can be summarised as followes; 1. College student's view of housework, value and division of housework differed significantly by their sex and standards of housework. 2. Between the view of housework on tradional living-culture and value of housework have a negative correlation. 3. Between the view of housework on the tradional living-culture and division of housework have a positive correlation. 4. College student's division of housework differed by their sex, It is said that male student pariticipate in houseing management, going to the public office, washing etc. But it is said that female student paticipate in cooking, child care, shopping.
