        충남의 기술수준별 연구개발 및 산업특성에 관한 연구

        This study classifies the division of manufacturing industries of Chungnam into the following according to the OECD industry classification scheme - based on the technical level and study on the characterization of R&D and industrial structure : high technology industries 54 (12%), medium-high technology industry 118 (26%), medium-low technology industry 112 (24%), low technology industry 176 (38%). The study also shows that the activities in R&D fields were dynamic, especially in the numbers of researchers and R&D investment which are mostly concentrated in the mediumlow technology industry, as traditional industrial structure have rapidly moved into the knowledge-based industry structure. The industries in the Chungnam characteristics showed that only high technology industries and medium-high technology industries in the area were Location Quotient(LQ), Business Scale (BQ) in the entire industry was larger compared to the national average, and Industry Growth rate(IG) was identified as high. When the industry was classified into a higher division, it showed more agglomeration, more big industrial scale, and industry growth rate.
